Vampire Survivors finally received it's DLC Legacy Of The Moonspell and boy is it a special one. It only contains 1 new stage, but the stage is super special, a hand-crafted stage that is ginormous. Alongside that, there are of course a ton new enemies, 8 more characters and 13 more weapons, all for just $2.
Today we play Gav'Et-Oni who gains 1 additional amount every 20 level ups, up to 4 times. Meaning the character has the most build-in amount in the game. Combine this with even more amount and weapons that highly benefit from amount and you have the amount king.

Gav'et-Oni is a word play on the italian word "gavettoni", typical water pranks played in summer and late spring, consisting on splashing people with water, or filling a balloon with water and then throwing it to someone

Also, the name of the weapon, "Mille Bolle Blu" (A thousand blue bubbles) is a reference to a popular italian song by the same title by famous italian singer Mina.

this character is based on the Kappa, which is a kind of youkai. It usually lives around or inside rivers. It's stronger and I think smarter then humans... kinda. but, if you can beat it, it'll respect you forever. or if you make it bow so low the water on their head dries out(they need the water to live), then save them. fun fact: their arms are "connected", meaning you can pull one, and the other will contract. It's connected to the kappa's shell. They like to eat cucumbers as well as shirikodama(human souls located inside the butt). the main attack is probably related to water since kappa usually live in rivers and drown people.

Probably my favorite new character. I love that their weapon evolves. Did a 1 weapon limit break with it and nothing could get anywhere near me.

@26:35 Doesn't seem that busted to me. It's just +1 Amount over the other gag characters but La Robba is way better than the bubbles. I think you're just so used to the solo weapon runs that it feels crazy having bonuses on multiple weapons. ;p

I feel like both the Bubbles and the Summon Night weapons are dragged down significantly by their high knockback. Moreso than other weapons.

Summon Night is pretty bad imo, but Echo Night has out DPSed Phieraggi on my last 30 minute run.

@@Linkopoop Summon Night is not that bad once you learn to play around it (and maybe get some area boosts), but Echo Night definitely has some insane damage potential on low-curse runs, due to lower knockback on low curse. But the problem comes during High curse runs (say Wicked Season and Torrona), where its damage per hit isnt that good but it still has insane knockback. If it somehow manages to get enemies stuch between 2 of its zones though? Probably a really high damage weapon. Probably great for Dairy Plant now that I think about it.

I wish we could "limit break" The character abilities. For example this guys max projectile count is +4. If it didn't have a max and continued to gain a projectile every 20 levels it would be more fun.

Use Wicked Season as first Arcana, get crown don't play on Hurry Mode, make sure you only collect the big red gems during the crown(growth) phase of wicked season.
