It is simply that the mod has more epic and special combos but the DLC does not become so repetitive to use and is much more faithful to what is seen in the anime / manga
The mod is the most beautiful one but its broken. The creator intended to make UI as strong as possible without taking to consideration that its a dragonball game with dozens of other playable characters.
When it comes to the modded version, it depends on the mods being used. For example, I love Unleashed's mods shown at 3:28, 3:34, and 4:08. Those are great because they're so unique and well-made without feeling...over-the-top, I'd say. Like, there are mods out there that add too much, whether that be for the combos, supers, ultimates, or transformations. It's also easy to make something overpowered, but Unleashed does a good job of making skills that aren't game-breaking. There are also mods where the effects don't look right, like at 3:46 where the .png effect snaps back down two seconds later. Stuff like that is distracting. I'm also not a fan of the walk since I'd prefer to be consistent with the other roster characters and run, or at least move at the same speed as them. The idle and intro animations for the modded version also don't do it for me. The DLC version had it right, at least with the idle animation. I prefer UI Goku to be standing on the ground as opposed to needlessly floating. As for the intro, I see what the modded version was going for (replicating Goku turning around to face the camera when he first achieved UI), but it doesn't look quite right. Overall, I'd take the DLC version but only because some of the modded things shown here don't look right. The combos for the modded version are what I like the least. It's a bit _too much_ and I'm not fond of putting supers (in this case, Meteor Crash and Soaring Fist) in combos.
the term gets thrown around alot, but unleashed's mods ACTUALLY look like dlc quality, unlike basically all of the other xenoverse mods out there that people claim are dlc quality
@@slappygurtUnleashed is my favorite Xenoverse 2 modder for a reason. By far, my favorite mods from him are Acceleration Finish, Accelerating Spirit, Solaris Fiere, Time Skip/Deadlock, his Transformation Pack, and all of his Random Super Skill Packs. My must-haves for my speedster Earthling CaC are Celestial Whirlwind (from Random Super Skill Pack 4), Lightning Burst (from Random Super Skill Pack 3), Perfect Instinct (from Transforming UI Goku), Acceleration Finish, and Accelerating Spirit.
Good showcase. Imma go for dlc, almost every time the mods used in these Kind of videos are composites of many other mods, some being good (Unleashed for example) and others not so good. Do you intend of comparing the other dlc characters ?
Echo, I still prefer mods, I think it's much better than bandai because the guys create things that don't have in the game, and especially the attacks and ultimate and other things.

Judging by the many reused assets in the mod I'm willing to be if has step and dash cancels on the combos, unlike the official which is stiff as a stick in the mud and can't move worth a damn without ki cancel exploiting. And with the super attacks it ain't even close. Mod wins.
MOD is overall better but rushed in the animations DLC is more refined HOWEVER. The mods behind paywalls like Patreon have DLC refinement but with the MOD intensity taken to another level
me personally i love both, the mod has more of a variety and mixture of pretty much everything UI Sign has to offer while the DLC’s is more smoother and fluid to me, resembling more of the animes fights oppose to the mods fast paced gameplay
They always have. Modders had UI Goku Sign and he able to transform as well. He's been around over a year and a half now. That DLC shit ain't special lmao
