Incredible! Not only painstaking levels of tone chasing and keyboard pyrotechnics, but I wasn't ready for the vocals in Third Impression, and they were awesome!
1 word “OUTSTANDING”. Keith & Greg would be proud……. And Carl would have a smile on face if he watches this, as you did a fine job playing the ELP way!!!
Terrific performance, especially the keys and vocals in Karn Evil 9 - Third Impression. Wow! Few really understand how incredibly difficult that is. Keith would be very impressed. Excellent sounds, audio mix, and production! Bravo!! ❤
That was awesome. Especially liked the KarnEvil9 3rd impression and all the gadgetry involved in getting that sound. I must admit you had to have felt Keith Emerson channeling you during that performance because it was spot on👍👍
Wow, you guys are making ELP proud for sure. Finally, a band that can add subtleties to make the songs more appealing and different. After all what is perfect remains perfect. However, interpretations, ad libs, changes in sound tones will render the songs more intriguing to listen to. I hope they go on tour. If you come to Canada, sign me up, I'll be there, I'll be there, we'll be there!
OK I’m sitting here in my house by the beach in Southern California. My wife is out and I could be doing 1 million things. I have a beautiful set of drums here that I could get behind and have fun with, I could watch a film, I have a gym downstairs that I already visited earlier today but it never hurts to try to maintain at my age and all of the abundant extra things one could do with their time. I am literally blown away by this presentation. There is so much ridiculous talent in this video it’s mind-boggling. And yes, my jaw just fell open all the way through to the end. This was such a joyful presentation I just wish it lasted longer. Love seeing and hearing the Rickenbacker upfront, the keyboard player is literally out of this world talented and amazing… And of course, at 8:40 we get to enjoy the beautiful 14 inch chrome Remo Spoxe HiHat Being played by the amazing drummer. Yes gentlemen, I look and listen for all of the details… And because of that curse, I tried to not listen for mistakes or errors, but my ears just want to listen out for them. Of course, none were to be found… The laser lights and the command of the music as well as the stereo, sonic treat that spun around my head as I listen to this grand finale in this amazing showcase… I really wish I could get a time machine and even pay for a front row seat to watch this live. This is just exceptional and masterful musicianship honoring a legendary trio. Thank you so much for this gift of your talents gentlemen! This is probably the best video of live music of this caliber I’ve ever seen in my life. Have an awesome week and gentlemen!
A thousand times better than anything I’ve heard trying to pass themselves off …ELP is not an easy task. I can only imagine the hard work that went into this performance. Well done. Looking forward to hearing more from you guys.
Put an inverted envelope with the release at 10 into your 960s osc freq and the release will handle speeding up the tempo of the end sequence so that you won't have to keep your hand on the knob.....see my example on a system 55....
Excellent work guys quite impressive. I noticed that the drums sound even better than Carl P maybe the way there miked idn. I picked it out immediately. I enjoyed your performance thank you
This is very good. The only other tribute band that I thought did the band justic were this virtual band ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QxowUPyMRbs.html And it's unlikely you would hear them live as it appears they live in different countries!
Good Lord that guy that played the keyboards on the Barbarian the guy that looked kind of like a nerdy professor was spot on and that chick that did knife edge well, I want to be with her so bad hahaha she was great😊
Thank you for checking out our video!🙂 Sorry if you found it less than stellar, it's just our humble attempt to keep the music and legacy of this great band alive. If you're a keyboardist, drummer or bass player, then PLEASE post a link of your tribute to ELP here so we can enjoy your interpretation of this outstanding music...😃🤘🎹
@@theredviolinshey, I've been listening to the great Emerson Lake and Palmer since their Inception and have been to every one of their concerts and I just like to say these were great I don't care what any of these Geniuses in the comments say just to pull this off is spectacular😮 I remember in the 1970s requesting Emerson Lake and Palmer from several cover bands at the time and they looked at me like I was a space alien or they would State we wouldn't even know where to start😮 my personal congratulations as I consider myself just about as knowledgeable about their music and career as you can get😊
@@edljnehan2811, Thank you SO miuch for your kind words, I'm happy you enjoyed it!!😃 This was a labor of love, when I was 14 and trying to learn this incredible music, I NEVER dreamed I would perform it one day. I even had a chance to play Keith's rig at EMEAPP. That was a dream come true, and SO special it wasn't even on my bucket list of things to do. But one of the most special moments of my life...🙂♥🎹
@@theredviolins I am eternally envious I cried like a baby when he passed and to think that you young guys can pick this kind of stuff up and play it. Also the gentleman that did the Barbarian at the opening of the video you know the one that looked like a young college professor was just incredible I've never seen anyone play that so well outside of Keith Emerson himself. In the young lady who did knife edge god, I want to be with her so bad hahaha and she did knife edge great as well. Congratulations to all of you
@@edljnehan2811, I did too my friend. I cried more when Keith passed than when my father did. I met them backstage on the Black Moon tour and all three signed my tour program, it's one of my most prized possessions! They were gracious and kind, considering they had just finished a blistering show. I will keep their legacy and music alive until my time is done on this planet...🙂🤘🎹
