Awesome video. You're badass. But on a sidenote comment on the game itself, that "I'm the one....WITH POWERRR!!" line is a bit...Taunts are supposed to be cool, but that one is, eh...not so much...just feels like corny cringe to be honest.
I have not played the game, so pure ignorant question, to do what he is doing in this vid is beyond smashing buttons? Also, some bosses just don't even move, doesnt it make it easier?
I was a Devil May Cry 3 player, but I've watched videos from every game in this series. I can't say that much about the button part. However, the DMC series requires skilful and precise button smashing, finger moving, weapon switching etc. to master the brutality, aka an enemy abuser (I'm not offending you, CriminalGameplay) or being a boss yourself. Those bosses are meant to move, but the player's skill has gone to the point that they can't or can barely fight back. The last one is actually the hardest, yet he's totally owned him like no one else. Reason? It's about his timing, weapon choices and a flair.
@@cornerxstone I'm sure you'll like it if you are a fan of action games with stylish combos and challenging fights. Below this are 2 SmvR's Bloody Palace bosses videos with 2 different characters. The 1st one is Nero like this one with different a completely different approach, and it takes 20 minutes to finish all the bosses. Not as fast as this video. You can also see how those bosses actually fight back. The 2nd one is Dante. He's a character who's been carrying the DMC series since the first game. He has a variety of close and melee combat weapons, including styles to switch unlike other characters, but you've to get all the extra weapons through the game's progression. You jump cancel it. It's easier if you hold your joystick towards the boss while mashing jump. For Vergil and malphas you want to be directly above them to get the cancel.

Dante is faster (faust even half charged + real impact spam + royal guard and sdt combos are also strong as hell) Nero is definitely more fun to watch though , dante is more fun for style playing than speed running (which the latter makes him look like a nerd)
