It's odd. When I first saw the end cutscene, I didn't really get why they would alter the lead up and end note of Dante and Vergil talking. Now though...Vergil's voice gets quiet, raspy when talking about Nero and after Dante's jackpot, but more relaxed and natural while him and Dante were quipping in the midst of their fights. It's subtle, but I think it's a nice way to convey how V's humanity (and subsequent character development) carried over to the current Vergil without overstating the point. It makes him uncomfortable to be ashamed...to be vulnerable and honest about how those people he's let down and the childhood he never had. Fighting though is different. There's less pretense. Both Vergil and Dante (for entirely different reasons) spent their lives turning their martial prowess into an artform. For Dante, it's an escape. A moment where he's not dwelling on how he doesn't truly belong in either the demonic or human worlds. For Vergil...well, it's comfortable version of their lifelong antagonistic tendencies. Less fratricide and more sibling rivalry. A chance to be the kids they never were. I appreciate that. It's such a minor thing, but they put it in anyway.
@@ieattacos68 Nah, it started waaaaay before Max0r's video. It started as an edited picture just for laughs but the fanbase loved it and actually wanted to mod the chair
5:46 Man, this part was one of the best DMC gameplay moment i ever seen. Both Dante and Vergil went Sin DT and unleash their strongest move. Judgement and Judgment Cut End
The way Donguri role plays as the characters is so entertaining. Playing with his food as Dante, and fighting calmly as Vergil. So badass やっぱりDonguriだな
@@leowei771 People are trying out Doppelganger combos and they clearly work at a good speed and that is just at default imagine when they tinker with delayed/faster Doppelganger and find the combos for that.
Honestly vergil is fun but what can you really do on him that stands out and is stylish ? You get this feeling when you play him too. Hes also not that different to dmc4 vergil so i doubt there is anything to figure out besides doppleganger combos
Me before playing the Vergil DLC: "I don't see what's so nightmarish about facing Dante while he's using Royal Guard." Me while playing the Vergil DLC: "Okay let's *NOT* use Mirage Blades..."
When vergil says "don't get it in my way". His voice is shaking like a unforgettable regret. Doesn't show his human side behind the cruel side. We love the brothers and their rivalry...
Imagine how many people gets shocked and creamed their pants if that exact transition happens. I am talking about playing as Vergil himself on the second round. Man....That's one missed opportunity right there.
He didn't have to replicate DMC4, but it feels like he deliberately equipped Sparda specifically just so that he could do it *TRICKSWORDTRICKSWORDTRICKSWORDTRICKSWORDTRICKSWORDTRICKSWORD*
This is unbelievable. I just got this game a few days ago and it's the first devil May cry I've ever really played and I'm at this fight right now and keep getting wrecked. To see you do this makes me realize how bad I am at this game.
4:41 No matter how much you clown on Vergil, he still manages to look cool. Just teleporting right next to Dante without attacking him made him jump and dash away out of fear.
like i said the first time i saw your video, you really fight like a true demon! like dante should be!! AMAZING! was w8ing to see this videos :D thanks man! u are the greates!
