It's more menacing when they throw BOTH their specials (Judgment, and JCE) at the same time. That's a guaranteed 1 shot even with 20 HP bars unless you dodge it on SoS or DMD.

@@omarsherif9764 well of course Vergil has a much greater defence aka not taking damage except when attacking with the exception of some moves and less offence
Think about it like this; If you ignore Dante, you die - between the long range and quadruple S attacks, he'd shred you before you could stagger Vergil
that actually happens A LOT in the fight, at least whenever I play it. If you take your eyes off one for even a second, you can bet they're closing in for an attack. It REALLY shows just how well the Brother's moves compliment each other because they cover each other so well.
@@Wikloe it also helps that the game is designed to have enemies attack when they're on camera. And if they're not on camera then their goal is to try and get on to the camera so they can attack, at least that's what I've tested
@@acdragonduck Enemies yes, bosses no. The bosses usually have fixed cameras to prevent you from exploiting that, however I've disabled the boss lock on camera and they STILL attack you from off screen so bosses are unique in they don't try to get back on screen. If you let Dante go on the other side of the map and turn the camera off him, you're going to get a bunch of laser spamming from off screen.
1:02 probably my favorite part. It looks like Dante is defending to make sure Vergil has the time he needs to charge JCE. On a side note , imagine if Vergil had his whole arsenal...
@@ThePigKnight I like that idea. Vergil's is able to use V's power while your playing as him so logically he should also be able to summon Urizen's power.
God, I love how this really gives a big contrast on how the Sparda brothers fight. Like Dante is the headfirst flashy guerilla type fighter, while Vergil actually plays smart, he goes with it slow, always go for the weak points, always on crits, if they showed it, he might as well be reading your moves and will strike at moments you lag, or pause to think. Pretty sure Vergil was the ones who got the first hits too, with Dante dishing higher digits.
Damn that was crazy!!! Dante just keeps coming to destroy you with his close quarters attacks and Vergil always keeping you in check with his long range judgement cuts. These two are the strongest demons there is trying to rip you apart and you defeated them with their attacks barely missing you
Ah, the super secret final boss in Turbo Legendary Dark Knight Mode 2.0 Sons of Sparda must die in hell and hell (Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series) that is only unlocked after beating it with no damage with maxed social links and S Ranking all the missions.
@@heartstormgames986 On 17 th of July talk to Nico to start Tower social link after that level up until 7 level and wait the moment when Dante acquiers Faust to start Fool social link max him before the fight with Vergil. And don't forget to max Lovers social link with Kyrie(it's optional but without the courage that Nero feels after last phonecall with her it gonna be hard acquiring DT). When fighting Vergil you need to at any cost not taunting him, no damage and fight needs to be ended at SSS style or else u cant start Power social link. After that u need to wait 27 of December(until that time im reccomending to you max Lady and Trish social links and don't forget Niko's).

This would have honestly been a more interesting final boss fight, rather than just having both chapter 19 and 20 being a Vergil boss. Like instead of Nero breaking up the fight in a cutscene, he does it through the gameplay.
@@Honest-King Nero beating Vergil is pure fan service. SDT is the complete evolution of Dante and Vergil’s demonic power. And Nero unlocked his own full DT. Him being so much more younger, less experienced; it doesn’t make any sense story-wise to whoop Dante and Vergil, if anything it should he the other way around. Also no idea how, but the writer will pull some thing out of his ass to give Nero a massive power boost (probably SDT), even though it doesn’t make much sense. I mean, the only reason Dante got SDT is by fusing the Rebellion within him, which was given to him by Sparda himself, and Vergil got his by eating the Qliphoth fruit.
@@hagoromootsutski9058 i'd argue that it's like the DBZ canon where a Sayan mixing with a human produces more powerful babies, so Nero having more human blood than Dante and Vergil has more potential for growth

Nevermind that though, DMC is a story about Family, Heart, and Humanity at its core, so you should probably get used to underdogs winning. Plus theres what Clerisvaldo said which is very likely considering both Dante slept in human blood and Vergil ate a fruit grown out of human blood. edit: Also keep in mind it wasn't an absolute fight to the death. It was just losing a round to Nero and Vergil acknowledging him. Both sons get up after the fight just fine, and when they'e in hell theyre constantly trading rounds. If they all fought Dante would probably win considering his crazy proven exploits and experience but it wasn't a fight to the death (because what DMC story is about).

Nice! When I tried this on DMD they scared the crap out of me because Dante did Judgement WHILE Vergil did Judgement Cut End. Freaking heart attack inducing lmao. Looking forward to you doing it on higher difficulties and not taking damage cause I certainly can't do it unless I keep Vergil in phase 1 (and that's boring, taking them both to phase 3 on SoS is hands down the most fun you can have in DMC5 lol).

now imagine you kill one before the other if you kill Dante, Vergil picks up DSD and incorporates it in his moveset Kill Vergil first and Dante picks up the yamato and uses it like he did in DMC4 Agni and Rudra proved this can be fun
I was really hoping you did this, and as expected, it was frickin awesome. Kinda wish there were options in game like this, to fight whoever as whoever, (and co-op) would've made the game live longer... i guess. 😅
Nero goes down to hell to kick their ass after Dante left all of Devil May Cry's financial debt on him and Vergil refused to pay child support all hes life.
Damn Nero followed his very MOTIVATED Dad and his CRAZY WOOHOO PIZZA GUY of an Uncle in hell just to prove he isn't dead weight LMAO. I would probably get manhandled within 10 secs if i play this XD
I cant wait to see this fight to be more optimized in the future. It really feels like 1v1.5 since the camera only focus on one person and they share the same health pool.

This'll be the scene in DMC6 when Nero tries to bring Dante and Vergil back to the human world. They don't wanna go back so he'll have to smack the shit outta them.
