Vergil #1: You might know everything I’m going to do… Vergil #2: …but that’s not going to help you… Vergil #1: …since I KNOW EVERYTHING YOU’RE GOING TO DO! Vergil #1 and 2: Strange, isn’t it?!
Holy shit this was a actually full of some excellent plays. Especially all those parties and counters to the sword rain! High quality combos and gameplay right there. You deserve more views!
@@TennebrumReloaded But it's not flashy. Mashing 1000 buttons doing the same jump cancel animation into the same air combos just doesn't look cool at all. This guy at least kept it to a bare minimum and didn't endless repeat for optimized damaged and mixed it up to still get the most damage but wasn't spamming attack and jump over and over.
@@TennebrumReloaded It's not really optimal for a good Vergil playstyle: mashing attacks mindlessly and running around depletes Vergil's concentration gauge which you need for the stronger stuff(some moves are only usable with a full gauge outside Devil trigger)
You know. In hindsight, this comment could be another story unto itself. With some Time Travel Plot BS. Suddenly, have a match up between two Vergils. All from two different points in time. One, the Player, is the "Current" time and one that is, the AI, "Future". Well, boils down to the fight of who is truly powerful.
- No Bury the Light - no EXTRA SUPER COMBO MOVES EVERY SECOND - no memes - two years before this game start hype - Just a relaxed battle to the "Devil Trigger" remix, as if the sun is still shining outside. A wonderful three and a half minutes.
DMC V: A game where you play as Vergil's Brother, Vergil's son and Vergil to stop Vergil but Vergil is trying to get back to Vergil so they can combime together and become Vergil, so you have to fight Vergil. With DLC that allows you to play as Vergil and fight Vergil as Vergil
its very accurate to what dante said tbh dante said "You're like an open book! I can read your every move!" and yes, vergil is like an open book his moves are very readable
oh my! This was excellent! I'm not very good at games like this and I'm practicing DMC 5 to try and get better. This is a high bar to reach. I look to this video as to where I would like to be one day. Challenge accepted :D
@@vergilsonofsparda973 the thing is that AI Vergil's JCE charges slower and doesn't have I-frames until he multiplies himself and JCE effect starts. If you begin your JCE in perfect timing with his, you will hit him, because your animation is faster than AI. AI JCE also cancels if you hit him with yours. I did that once.
Jesus that ending was the most hardcore doppelganger type anime endings ever, can't imagine how satisfying it would have felt to pull it off and add a bit of head canon on how exactly your Vergil won that clash.
This is a video of Vergil fighting Vergil in the game where Vergil hires Vergil's brother and Vergil's son to defeat Vergil so Vergil can become Vergil.
Vergil dodging a judgement cut and then following up with the same attack feels exactly like something he would do if he saw a copy of himself. That and/or mock it’s lack of power/motivation.
Thank you good sir for playing as vergils alt skin so we can tell that the vergil your fighting is the vergil that’s taking damage and not the Vergil your playing as
Damn. I never knew in the game where Vergil hires Vergil’s brother and Vergil’s son to defeat Vergil featuring Vergil had a Vergil versus Vergil fight where both Vergil’s fight to the death until the best Vergil remains, this is the most Vergil thing ever
DMC5 Vergil vs Vergil Featuring Vergil from Vergil May Cry 5 and Vergil from Vergil May Cry 5:Special Edition now sponsoring Vergil May Cry where Vergil is love and Vergil is life
sorry for being late but anyways-- good job! this gameplay of Vergil vs Vergil is amazing, and no damage too is insane. and holy crap, love the combos aswell
