what a beautiful father/son tribute to dance. you all look like you ahve a wonderful relationship and both such a great gift to dance. . . .thank you dimitri for your dance and your son!!!
What a charming - and VERY instructive! - video! It's easy to see where Danil gets his verve and panache - to say nothing of his astounding skill! A great video; many thanks!
Dude, I have been a professional ballet dancer for the past ten years and I've been in NYC in 3 professional companies. It's a fact of life for us male dancers. Good thing I have support of my dad but guys some don't. I'm just acknowledging that's obviously his father was in the profession and I think it's great!
this is truely inspirational. How wonderful for you share such precious time togethr doing something you both excell at and obviously love. I wish i could do something similar with my children one day!!
I enjoyed watching this little "competition" video between the father & the son. The father is certainly a very nice-looking man, who likes to maintain his ballet form & skills. But it looks to me like he may have purposely "taken a fall" at the end, to allow his young son to win (the son might obviously become a little "disheartened", if not allowed to occasionally win in such competitions!). I've also noticed that in most of Daniil's very early video clips, he appears to have brown-ish hair, but in the later ones, he appears to have blond hair. Did his hair naturally go lighter with age (for most people it often darkens from youth to adulthood), or does he now bleach his hair to make it appear blond?
wonderfull the way the film is made from start to finish. So great to see clean form..imagine if u use weight and your 'plié' more then u would get more height and velocity from the movement. (look at Cechetti priciples of weight)Take it from me..an older one!
