Multiple times “the money is not right” yet he happily took a pay cut to fight a washed Pascal. Just recently, Bivol again walked away from Beterbiev negotiations. The WBC has already stated they want Bivol to make a petition to fight just like Beterbiev did, and he refuses. Bivol has not fought a single elite LHW in his entire career. Nor has he ever dared to leave his division. Maybe he’s not scared, but he’s definitely playing it safe. Can you blame him tho? Joe Smith Jr took Bivol all 12 rounds and even hurt him towards the end. Beterbiev is a monster who walked thru Smith Jr in 2 rounds. Not to mention, Beterbiev beat and KO’d a bigger, stronger version of Bivol in Gvozdyk. If I was Bivol I wouldn’t want to fight him either. My prime is at an end. My career is closing. It’s too late to do anything legacy defining. Just collect some pay checks and retire peacefully at full health.

Canelo didn't take the fight because the rematch was on Bivols terms and it was for canelo's belts.. Sounds to me like canelo ducked the rematch clause

I want him to fight Artur. But Artur won’t fight him. It’s not a Bivol problem this fight hasn’t happened. He wants the top fighters and isn’t scared. He was an underdog against Canelo and whipped Canelo. He then was the underdog against Zurdo and crushed Zurdo. You look at Artur’s resume and you know exactly who’s fault that fight hasn’t happened.
