i don’t know if you’ll see this richard, but i don’t think you’re a narcissist or a sociopath at all. You did drugs like speed which can create similar tendencies to both of those, but that doesn’t mean you’re a sociopath. Your ability to cry just thinking about other people’s feelings shows you care and have empathy. Don’t be so hard on yourself man, you have a kind heart.

@@noahbrown4388 yeah he really seems extra hard on himself just bc of some poor tendencies caused by drug abuse/homelessness/environment he was raised in. no narcissist or sociopath is crying out of empathy like that. they’d force themself to cry to make a situation more about them but that’s not what i see here at all. i see a man who hurts for others in the struggle

DMT "User" doesnt sound right. Its not like other substances people "use". I use DMT to explore my conciousnes. Sometimes its terterrifying, sometimes its the most beautiful experience you'll ever know. It always makes me realize whats important in life. Its kinda like a reset on jadedness, and it makes me a better human. It also helped me quite smoking cigarettes several years ago, because it made me think about whats iimportant in life.

@@Zenjunsai I think about your example of a drug addict often, I find it really interesting. It feels like some people who may sincerely be trying to recover from drug addictions unintentionally play a game of counting the days of sobriety which keeps them engaged with the addiction at a very close mental proximity and I think a lot of people get a certain type of high off of the counting or the continued proximity to the addiction or even off of telling the "recovery narrative." I remember hearing a joke/story about an AA meeting where people were talking about how long they'd been sober and one guy says, "You guys are still counting the days?" To me it feels like if you're counting, and if you're often telling all the strangers online your count, then you very likely weren't ready to give up your habit and will relapse on it soon enough.

I don’t want to idolize psychedelics but this is one more story of someone starting psychedelics and changing 180 degrees. I had a Ketamine microdose infusion. It was an amazing experience and very helpful, 2 months total vacation from 4 decades of severe depression and CPTSD. 6 months out, still no suicidal ideations at all, even though the heavy veil of depression is back. I wish I could microdose psilocybin. I never wanted to try psychedelics, but I will "idolize" them every chance I get because the world would be better if a lot more people could microdose them.

My husband passed in 2012 and I'm 43 years old now. Been through several addictions as well and in recovery now. It's been a hard road and a tough life in addiction that I don't recommend and I do regret. Addiction cost me a lot in my life. I have bi polar 1 too and ADHD. Been through trauma and abuse a lot in my life too unfortunately. I've experienced acid and shrooms but not DMT and yes they are not addictive and provide a enlightened experience for many but it also can cause phychosis and permanent damage to the brain. Especially if you take it regular and doing à lot of it. I feel bad for this guy watching his video. He's struggling to talk and say words and keep his train of thought. He's obviously got a lot going on or has done permanent damage possibly to his brain. It's hard to say without a psych evaluation and sobriety maybe meds n so on. I hate to see any addict struggles. It's not funny to me at all. I agree when he says it's the wild wild West in the drug scene especially in LA. The epidemic of drugs and addicts is at an all time high. Sending peace n love and prayers to this man and those like him on Skid Row. My drug life and history is a horrible life and story but sometimes I get perspective by watching Marks videos of people on Skid Row that make me feel grateful for not having a worse life on drugs as they do. I wasn't homeless and I had food and shelter and family. Resources to get sober like therapy and insurance and my medication. I have more than this man. Thank you for sharing your story. I needed to see this video tonight. It's given me the perspective I needed. I am going through a hard time and don't want to jeopardize my recovery and all I've worked on and changed and throw away all I have worked so hard for. I appreciate that Marks channel has been a tool for me with my own life experiences and addiction. Marks channel makes me stay informed and gives me a lot that's hard to put into words. Every time I watch a video it usually helps me in some way. It's become to me like a community of people nationwide coming together and sharing together and communicating with being about to comment and talk. I know Mark is helping me too and I've never met him or made a video. As a viewer I'm grateful for the soft white underbelly it's a connection I deeply need too. Thank you for what you do Mark. Much love Megan Illinois

Thanks Richard. We have listen and shared your story here in Brazil man. We cried couple of times, especially when you said about lack of love and traumatised people roaming the streets there, lot of that going on here as well. People see addiction as a disease of the body but it is most often the disease of themind because of lack of love, feeling of lack of care, feeling of despair and all those things that lead us to trying to get love through substance. DMT can be a channel to see love as the only way out of things. not on the hippie sense, but in the actua; practical, day-to-day sense. Sending you lots of love through these lines.

DMT 101 EXPLAINED...... What happened, was that everyone got a glimpse of something, I can't say what it is.. I don't know what it is....To me, it might have been something like, "limitless possibilities"... The experience was so cosmic, were so huge in scope....All of a sudden I had to revise eveything that I thought I knew about anything....this stuff is coming from somewhere, if it's not out there, it's coming from me,it's coming from my mind...my brain...That means my brain has an infinite amount of capacity in there that I had no sense of....I didn't know anything about it... But there it was, and I seen it...I not only saw it, I walked around in it, I had a million incarnations in it...I lived & died in it...I had experiences beyond anything I have ever experienced... I think maybe eveyone saw what they wanted to see, or needed to see...I can't say what it was or when it was, or what it boiled down to...or anything like that.... Once you were touched with that, it was like dog shit on your shoe...you couldn't get it off...It was part of everything you did....you were sorta touched by this wand....some percentage of everything you do is gonna have that "thing" in it.

I died in 2020 from an Acute Renal Failure, all of my organs shut down and they put me on a respirator. I had a NDE (Near Death Experience). My heart stopped while I was in a Boston Hospital ER. I was clinically dead, briefly. I was in a coma for 3 days. I experienced Heaven & Hell. It was the most profound experience. My soul ascended into Heaven while I left my body behind. My Guardian Angel guided me. I met Jesus Christ, some Saints, and Angels. I experience TOTAL bliss. I had a life review, experiencing every moment & decision since birth - like standing under the Niagara Falls with every drop of water being a data point. Jesus is forgiveness. Our 5 senses are only a fraction of what is experienced in Heaven. I don't know if I was there for 10 seconds or 10,000,000 years. Space took on many more dimensions. I saw people who died before me and could grasp the concept of eternal love. Jesus had me visit Hell, accompanied by my Guardian Angel, Susan, who protected my soul. I was terrorized by demons and encountered Satan, but was protected by Susan and the words of Christ. I saw tortured souls surrounded in vile, disgusting filth lacking in love, empathy and anything good.

It's crazy how much this guy's experience mirrors my own, and how DMT was the defining and formative moment of awakening. I was also very narcissistic and detached. Was on SSRIs and benzos, for years to cope with depression and mental illness. DMT, shrooms, ket and MDMA allowed a total shift in consciousness. I'm now very empathetic, no significant depression or anxiety, I'm able to operate effectively. I'm very community based and charitable. Totally at odds with who I was when I was younger. It's like it helped me find the path to God and awareness of the greater. I actually make DMT carts for people now. I think I'm a conduit for it to find the people who need it.

Thank you brother for sharing your story. I too get quite emotional when I recall my spiritual awakening to someone because to remember feeling that divine love engulf you and to feel it through every fibre of your being is such a powerful feeling you can’t not get emotional. The loving embrace of the creator is an indescribable feeling, you can’t compare it to any other kind of love you may experience in this “reality” not your mother, father, not your wife, not your children, not any drug can give you this feeling, and yes I was completely sober when this event took place, hands down the most powerful experience of my life. After all the bad things I’ve done in my life I could have never imagined that I would be worthy of such love and forgiveness. Best way I can describe it is an embrace of forgiveness and love, but there are no words in the human language to describe this feeling.

@ant_shotit
@ant_shotit 11 месяцев назад
@@Eric-th2kx I honestly don’t know, from what my guru explained I unwittingly have gone through a certain purification process in this lifetime through trauma and how I’ve dealt with it and my karmic actions. This event was brought on by a single yoga pose, my first yoga pose in this lifetime, I felt a crack at the base of my spine and this feeling of relief just overtook my whole body and with a deep exhale perception of time ceased to exist, the sky opened up and through a very small hole in the sky a beam of sunlight came down and was hitting me directly in the chest, it was that small and precise that it was only on my chest. And that’s when the feelings of indescribable love and forgiveness came through. No other sunlight was coming through the sky, as far as the eyes could see there’s no other break in the sky with sunlight coming through apart from this very narrow precise beam. Sky was overcast with the darkest blackest clouds I’ve ever seen in my life, followed by the most extreme torrential rain I’ve ever seen or experienced it looked like a wall it was so dense but felt amazing. There was other stuff in between but that’s the jist of it, happened on a beach in Brazil, Itaipuacu. No alcohol, or any other drugs were used to induce that experience, completely sober when it happened. I wasn’t even sure if what I experienced really happened or it was just some abnormal weather phenomenon, like electromagnetic waves generated by the weather distorting my perception (air conducts electricity, weather formations can generate abnormal disturbances in the frequency fields of individuals thus affect perception). It was God, I doubt weather phenomena can generate that feeling of love and forgiveness. I was an atheist all my life in fact I used to get really pissed off and angry if people talked about God around me “get the fuck out of here with that bs” I used to say, it really got under my skin. Now I’m out here preaching the word of God to people on RU-vid and today did a talk at my old school. Thank you God for allowing me to serve 🙏🏻

I feel like he's a total paradox. He's a self-diagnosed sociopath and narcissist, yet he has remorse for behavior caused by his condition and he's being pretty honest. I'm in no way diminishing his pain or self-awareness, but you don't see many sociopaths with compassion, if any at all. It's part of their make up. These terms are somewhat buzz words these days and it can be deceiving to the person self- evaluating. Just because you're selfish or conceited at times doesn't make a narcissist. Sometimes these bad traits are just part of human nature - for the mentally ill AND the mentally stable. Just my two pennies

People saying this guy is "kind hearted" blah blah blah. This guy would have robbed you blind in his 20s, 30s, 40s and possibly even now. Yall need to detect sociopathic traits a lot better. Not saying he's beyond redemption or completely wicket, but decent people don't live a lifetime of victim-based crime and recidivism.

"I am a product of my environment" - that hit
@dmtdreamz7706

Then at the very center of the light, something else appeared. There was a wooshing sound, and in a flash I went through the opening and found myself in a completely new world. The strangest, most beautiful world I'd ever seen. Brilliant, vibrant, ecstatic, stunning . . . I was flying, passing over trees and fields, streams and waterfalls, and here and there, people. There were children, too, laughing and playing. The people sang and danced around in circles, and sometimes I'd see a dog, running and jumping among them, as full of joy as the people were. A beautiful, Incredible dream world . . . Except it wasn't a dream. The word real expresses something abstract, and it's frustratingly ineffective at conveying what I'm trying to describe. Imagine being a kid and going to a movie on a summer day. Maybe the movie was good, and you were entertained as you sat through it. But then the show ended, and you filed out of the theater and back into the deep, vibrant, welcoming warmth of the summer afternoon. And as the air and the sunlight hit you, you wondered why on earth you'd wasted this gorgeous day sitting in a dark theater. Multiply that feeling a thousand times, and you still won't be anywhere close to what I felt like where I was.Then I heard a new sound: a living sound, like the richest, most complex, most beautiful piece of music you've ever heard. Growing in volume as a pure white light descended, it obliterated the monotonous mechanical pounding that, seemingly for eons, had been my only company up until then. The light got closer and closer, spinning around and around and generating those filaments of pure white light that I now saw were tinged, here and there, with hints of gold.

I think it's a bit tough nowadays cause it's not clear those vape pens have 100% clean DMT. There's a lot of research chemicals and synthetic analogues imported from India and China or whatever. Not too easy testing either. I'm no expert but you have to have a lot of trust in whoever you're dealing with.

I agree 100% Fortunately I've been lucky enough to experience DMT as far back as 2009-2010. And have always had a source that makes it themselves and I've actually been present during some of the process or making it. But I don't doubt there are people out there passing off RCs as DMT just to make a buck. And that's honestly sad AF.

Thanks for going through life and experiencing failures Richard. You are very strong and you've discovered meaning through suffering in ways most people don't have the bravery to face. You are admirable for the realizations you've come to by going through the pain to discover and you came out the other side with compassion and awareness. in my opinion you've passed the test and stood the test of time. It's twisted sometimes, but in those moments where everything aligns, you realize it's all necessary. stay strong brother.

There are absolutely exceptions. Stealing medicine from a mega corporation is not unethical. There are cases where human greed and exploitation create a necessity that is simply out of reach financially for the lower class. And a lot of the time this is very intentional. The rich can steal labor and wages for millions to enwealthen themselves, but someone with a life threatening illness can steal the 1000% price inflated life saving medication? Yeah, nah.

I agree with everyone saying you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself, your honesty and empathy prove you’re much more than what you see in yourself. I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing a follow up in the future. And I hope you have a great birthday!

21:50 - that's what happenes to me on Cannabis. Or sometimes even sober. Close my eyes but still can see. Cannot leave my body, but feel like I am about to leave it, can see with my eyes closed, can see energies of people, like aura of their body and then lose consciousness and be in a in and out of consciousness panic state for 1 hours. Happened to me 4 out of 13 times I smoked.
@solipsist3949
@solipsist3949 11 месяцев назад
I was with you up to the panic attack, it's too bad. Drugs can affect different people differently. I used to know some hard core rock climbers. They always smoked weed before a hard climb. It makes me really uncoordinated, unsteady and unable to hold on to any train of thought.
@hamidman6974
@hamidman6974 11 месяцев назад
@@solipsist3949 so you had similar experience, just no panic attack? To be honest I don't know if it's a panic attack, or psychosis or what's it's called, but I lose consciousness and lose all my memory. Cannot recognize the people I am with, and in my mind, I feel like I am in a limbo, between heaven and hell - as if I am dead. For like 45 minutes. Then get back to 97% normal, then after few hours or the next day, feel 100 % normal.
