this examiner seems so sweet. i hope when i eventually take my driving test my examiner is this lighthearted that would definitely take a lot of the edge off. these videos are a life savers for first time test takers😭😭

Just passed my test today, under heavy rain, with road markings nearly impossible to make out. To anyone feeling nervous and having some sort of chest-pain sensation, once you get on the vehicle, it will go away.

I just took my test a few hours ago and passed, I just stayed as clam as I could and did the best I could and it was a lot easier to concentrate! (I had the worst anxiety, chest pain and felt really nauseous) if I can pass TRUST ME you can pass too! Best of luck to anyone who is taking their test!!

hey, for all you people who are watching/binging these DMV driving test videos and are preparing for an upcoming test, you got this. Just be prepared and calm and you'll do fine. My biggest recommendation is to drive for a few hours right up until the test, it really helps with driving anxiety :) If it's your first test, sometimes failure can be your biggest advantage for your next one. Just like this girl, I had a conversation with my examiner the entire duration of the test. I thought it was common, but after watching many of these videos it's not as common as I had thought

The examiner sounds so nice, he seems like he actually wants her to pass. I’ve heard from friends and family about their experiences with extremely serious and intimidating examiners. They got so scared that none of their practice mattered when in the end, stress and pressure caused them to fail.

I didn’t care what score I got as long as it meant “passed” 🤣

Failed mine 3 times. Passed the 4th. It happens, you get nervous. Know that it’s okay. I know how it feels to be so disappointed, but you’ll pass, I promise, I felt like I was never going to pass. Just try not to over think it. ♡︎

To anyone here about to take their driver's test, I have some advice. 1. Don't be too nervous: This is a cliche but if you're gonna be like me, too nervous to even listen to the instructor and focus on driving, it's not time to take it. I was so nervous I messed up the hand signals! Thank god my instructor was really nice. 2. Unless you're in a city, try to get the earliest time when traffic is light. Also, you'll b the first driver the instructor tests that day, so they for sure are going to be more lenient. 3. Stop watching these videos: I know you think these videos are going to help or help your anxiety, it won't. Trust me. I watched at least 50 of these type of videos with parallel parking. I ended up changing the way I parallel park without even trying, and that came back to bite me in the butt cause I just barely parked correctly on my test. Just know whatever you were taught will pass you. 4. Good luck! Let me know how it went!

For anyone feeling nervous - I watched a few of these videos prior to my test and thought there would be too much to remember but I'm now realizing that most of the things mentioned in these videos come very naturally. Just stay confident and think of it as a quick drive around the neighborhood :) you got this!

Went to take my test today, I was reversing in the parallel parking spot and my instructor cut me off and said “ok great job, now pull out and go to the main road”. I didn’t even get to finish parking, then I just had to make 1 right turn, and 5 lefts, another right, and another left. I was stressing that test so much, but it was so easy. So what I’m saying is, please don’t stress your test when you take it. It is so much easier than you think. Hope whoever reads this has an amazing day! And good luck on your test!

I just took mine yesterday man when I tell u I was nervous my knees were shaking and I was just so scared I was going to fail but right when I started driving I just focused on staying safe and to just follow the rules of the road , and I passed !! Now and days it’s quick and they are just making sure you are a confident safe driver . Know your hand signals , windshields wipers , blinkers , barking break, etc, just always chin to shoulder check, watch speed , smooth break/ go , left right left before each intersection, full stop at stop sign, always check mirrors, don’t stop past limit line. If you want more tips comment and I will make a video on how to prepare for your test ! ;) Also driving isn’t definitely a privilege! Always be aware of your surroundings and the other drivers ;) good luck to everyone with a test soon !

When I was in my 20s, I failed my driver's test 4 times and gave up. I said I'd never drive again. 15 years later and I have never driven again but I just got my permit and this time I am going to do it. It's going to take a lot of time and a lot of money (75 dollars an hour for private lessons) but I am going to do it!

Passed my test today 12/10/2020 in Jamaica, Queens, NYC. I was nervous and but passed. My main advice is to get a lot of practice, especially with turning and parallel Parking, and remain calm. I almost messed up the Parallel parking, took me a while to correct myself and park correctly. That was in the beginning of the test, which led to me being a little off balance for the rest of the test. It’s best to be like the driver in this video, calm and confident. Anyways, to anyone else about to take the test, you got this!!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

As mentioned in the video, the key to passing your road test it to be prepared and be confident! Examiners aren't there to stress you out, but first impressions are key in shaping their outlook on the exam. Confidence goes a loooong way, and if you know that you've practiced hard, let your confidence show that!

i just passed my drivers test today!! i was super nervous the whole time (my leg was shaking so bad that we had to sit in the car for a sec for me to regain my composure lmao), but my examiner was so nice! he was really patient with me and said i only missed marks on parking-he said my turns were more “round” than they should be. i just wanted to say watching all these vids really helped me, and i felt a lot more confident going into the test. my only piece of advice is to work on being calm, because it’ll make it 100x easier. good luck everyone!!

All y’all bouta take your test needa relax and chill tf out. I took my test in downtown SF probably the most difficult place you can take a test. I passed with ease because i was very aware and attentive. Just remember to use your head movements and look around and look aware cause thats what examiners mainly look for. Stop being nervous. There is no reason too.

My test is in 2 days Update: I passed I was extremely nervous before the test but once I got in the car with the instructor it felt so comfortable and I felt to confident that I was going to pass. So to anyone who is nervous, don’t worry YOU GOT THIS 🎉

I took my test today, literally practiced my parallel parking and 3 point turn 1 hour before I took the test, passed it :) honestly it was not as hard as I thought it was. Make sure you stop at the stop signs, stop lights, and smoothly accelerate/decelerate

got my test tmrw morning (9/15/20) at fremont update: just passed, test was literally 5-10 min max tip: if ur confident in driving it should be a breeze, but if ur nervous don’t be just always be alert when looking through the traffic and show the examiner you’re a defensive driver. Trust yourself you got this 🙏🏽👍🏽

Anyone here whose about to take the test, exaggeration is key! make your scanning exaggerated; they are focused on the road as well and will not see you moving your eyes around. move your head a bit so they can see you are actually scanning

Its so easy to drive in the US, in the UK with smaller roads there are a ton of things i need to be mindful of constantly scanning for signs, speed limits, round abouts, pedestrians , mirrors.. its hella difficult to pass in the UK

It was easy. Accept when I turned left when he said right. He laughed. We had fun really. I had a great time. Nothing to worry about if you keep your eyes on the road the hands upon the wheel. Be aware and use mirrors and look over your shoulder. Go kick some butt guys.

I failed my driving test 3 times already and I just don't know how to pass. I've been driving for over a year with a permit and I try to move on to get my license. I do good in general driving, but every time I go take a test, I fail. I probably get nervous with the examiner. I'm going back for the 4th time next month and hopefully I could pass. I'm really upset I didn't pass because I was so excited to get my driver's license, but it didn't happen. Oh well, 4th times the charm and I'm sure I'll pass the next time.

Honesty it’s not that bad once you start your test, all of the nerves leave once you’re in it. Just take a few deep breaths and focus and listen to what your instructor is telling you to do. Use safe and defensive driving and you should pass👍 I took mine recently and it was a piece of cake! Good luck!
