Joe, how about potted meat ? Smaller cans, easier to store. I have a 4 egg plastic container I carry on my trips. I'll have it when I see you in Sturgis at camp 5, OK. Getting stronger every week. Tackling kidney stone next. Cancer is gone !!!
Lookin good Joe. I always adjust chain with the wheel on the ground. For me, it’s a weight thing. Much easier your way. You made me hungry. I’m gonna go eat.
You definitely get a better reading when measuring slack with it on the ground. Ideally you’d sit on the bike with it packed up and have a buddy measure. I’m pretty familiar with this bike, and I’ve got a pretty good feel for when it need to be adjusted and how much. I just find it easier to
Those gopher turtles will go on feeding frenzies as determined by, 🤷🏼 I don’t know, but I’m told that’s a good time to go fishing because the fish are supposed to be on a similar cycle. An old lady I met near Crestview Florida told me this years ago. I believed her because she had a big finches in area in her yard. When the gophers started eating, her and her husband would go fishing cause they knew the fish were biting! 😉👍
Thanks man. Yeah luckily my bike is pretty simple. My tool kit is pretty much a couple sockets, ratchet, wrenches, a crescent wrench, etc. It don’t take much
Lots of those strip malls are owned by in investment groups and when it comes to maintenance that won’t pay it and just run it till it falls over and sell the land
You are missing out bigtime Joe. Vietnam. Headline in todays paper: Sidewalks in central Vietnam turned into chili drying venue. Chili far as the eye can see. 😁
I saw an abandoned mall in Yuba City, CA. I asked my uncle who lived closer to the river what that was about. After the levy broke and flooded his neighborhood, the insurance companies would no longer insure the mall. He had water about 6 feet up his living room wall. He said if it happened again he would take the insurance money and move. That's probably what happened to that mall. Hurricane damage and insurance cost issues.
Good impersonation of STS going thru the old buildings. Loved the cooking segment. Always looking for new recipes to try. I'm big on any Asian food anyway. It's gotta be getting hot and humid in Florida now days.
Haha thanks Gary. Yeah that’s definitely his thing. I’ll do every once in awhile if I see an abandoned structure which looks interesting. Getting too hot here, I need to moving on soon
As always.... your videos make it as if we are with you on your adventures. Informative and entertaining.... up there as one of the best with your format... your brand... keep the receipies coming... stay safe... 👍😎👍
You are quite the boondocking chef. There are lots of things you can do with Spam but I'm not sure about some of that hot sauce, I think it would burn the hair on the butt at some point 😂
Good video, brother. Barely missed you at Daytona but I didn't want to bother you while you were working. I was right there at DD when I had my flat tire. (It in one of my Daytona videos) Stay Safe, man. Really cool that you are digging some of the literary classics. You need to check out Agatha CHristie's "The Affair at Styles" and G K CHesterton (anything he writes).
If you had my mini solar generator you could have light in you're tent and charge up you're smart phone..that little propane cooker is also good too keep you're tent warm at night..good vid joe.
@dirtymotorcyclevagabond the solar generator I got on Amazon for 199.00 best thing I ever had, you can have light in you're tent and plug a spotlight for looking around the tent at night in case of unexpected noises in woods and charge up 4 smartphones..if I was you it would be a must have item.
If you are still in Chrystal River area there is a antique bike show today at scooter haven County club .it's a biker campground in Inglis a couple miles north of Crystal river maybe we'll see you there me and a couple boys headed that way this morning from tampa
Wow Joe! Great to see that you are putting a lot more thought into the food you eat and how it affects the performance of the human body. It's just too bad that we have spent so much of our lives weaving our way through the lies and bs about what is and what is not food. As a damn near diabetic- I ditched all grains/sugar/bad seed oils and go with eggs/beef and corrected my body functions. Cheers to you my friend!
Another solid one! What brand tent is yours? I'm going to do some riding and camping this summer. I'm not trying to weigh my bike down too much. I just want one that is compact enough to maybe fit inside my backpack or one of my panniers. If it doesn't fit, all I'll have to do is strap it to something.
Thanks man! They sell basically the same tent on Amazon under a couple different brand names. I can't recall the one who makes it. Hillman maybe... Probably too long for a backpack but you could likely strap it like you said.
