Hello and thank you for your videos. I liked the tips you gave regarding the widow maker (never thought of it), and the cooking. Great to know new recipes for when on the road trip. Keep the videos coming.
That bridge was crazy. I thought I seen something cool with the double arch that is on the Natchez trace. We have what we call artisan well about 15 miles from the house. Right after hurricane Katrina everyone for a long radius was going there to get water!
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond Your videos from the Philippines ect are on a different level than most all I have seen except maybe National Geolphraphic. And that’s because they had better cameras and crew.
Awesome video Joe, cool seeing Dwight too. The wife and i are heading towards Sturgis around july 26th. We'll be trailering out and camping at camp 5. Hope to see you, we should be there Mondayish. Let me know if your in need of anything.
I just flew back from Ohio,I rode my Ultra From Ormond Beach to Columbus,I'm in the process of selling her ,had a great solo ride through Appalachia. I'm just downsizing because I'm an old F#ck, not quitting. Stay safe my friend.
You should purchase a tire pressure monitoring valve caps one set comes with a little screen that mounts to the handlebars the other set has a app for your phone
I rode to sturgis in 2022 from lynchburg va. Actually camped in camp 5 while i was there. I can say as far as the ride out there west virginia was the best part going out and coming back.
All that food looked really good. If you park the bike close to the tent, you can tie the tent door to it to create your awning. New River Gorge park is really nice - I was there last year. Hope you rode Fayette Station Road to the bottom of the gorge and back up again - that was a great ride.
Dam Joe, keep missing you on your travels north to Sturgis, when I seen your video and you were in huntington and went acrcoss the east huntington bridge, that's 3 blocks from my house, would love to take you out to dinner, but I believe your videos are few weeks behind, we'll maybe later on, safe travels Joe, God bless brother
Joe; good to see a video. But Joe, their not widow makers unless your married!!! hahaha Agree interstates suuck!! Since I retired, I am rarely forced to ride a damn interstate. How many miles on your friends electra glide clutch cable? I have never had one break on my heritage. Great video!! Not trying to sell me somebodies else shzt or a bunch of way too loud shzt music, Thanks God Bless safe ridin rubber down
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond there are two Harley dealers in the area.. yeah it's been about 15 years since I was down there but I remember one the owner actually was the one that works on old motorcycles at that time... The fella I was with we were in a forum together I went down to see him.. he took me around Indianapolis.. and he had a couple of old 45s or even a knuckle up on the lift and the owner was the one that was working on stuff..
A solid one, Joe. I'm surprised with you being from that part of VA, you don't have a deep southern accent like the folks of Dublin and further south closer to TN. If you ever make it to Arlington, TX, you gotta make an appearance at Dimebag and Vinnie Paul's graves.
Great video Joe, got me wondering now of what your breakdown is going to be. My plans for getting to Sturgis are now on hold while I’m waiting for my bike to get fixed. Not sure when I’ll get there now, worst part is, I may miss the ‘Get On ADV Fest’. I will still head out once I get my bike back but will have to wing it now for where I’ll I can camp. I still have the Hot Sauce for you so hopefully I find you somewhere in Sturgis.
I love rt 60 midland trail. I used to drive a gasoline semi truck tanker up them roads everyday. Just sold my 22 streetglide st trophy junk, going to buy me and the wife a couple of honda adv160 and ride the sheet outta them. Maybe we will ride them to the blackhills. Been there 4 times, but never to the rally. We typically show up the day after the event. Ima send ya a donation here in a couple. Got to send Scotty his change my channel made him when I was trying to get him to take it over anyways. Love the vids when I get a chance to watch. 👍.
Right above Indianapolis on 69 north is a place called Uranus fudge factory where they pack your fudge for you. 😂 Seriously it's true and they have awesome fudge check it out. sometime.
Brother i ride to sturgis and live across the 31 st bridge from Huntington i wish we could have rode up together i did by my self 1st time there I could hav helped you with camping maby next time thru this area
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabondi go every year they call it little Sturgis gets pretty wild some years. Got some good bands this year other than that it's like every other rally vendors, girls, and weekend warriors revving their engines all weekend
Man, it’s really lightweight, eel ventilated and have a good field of vision. Only downside is it’s insanely loud in crosswinds. Had to wear earplugs at times
Hey Joe let me know if you get this. How about I leave the Hot Sauce for you with the bartender at the Big Engine Bar at the Buffalo Chip Campground. I know we don't want to leave our contact info in public space. But I think this will work for both us. Bill
Question: Joe howz it going w the nicotine? i saw your patch cinched on in the last vlog, I'm only asking because I got hooked on Fking nicotine lozenges
I’m on my way there myself I was just wondering if you guys could let me know where camp five is I’d like to meet up also looking for a job at Sturgis my name Shawn I’d really appreciate it if you could help me out
Hey Joe, if you're looking for a place to camp in southern Minnesota. send me a message. we're on 10 acres on a dead end road near New Ulm. just off hwy 14
You got me. When I saw that overpass I thought, dude are You WRONG! My 1st time over the gorge was in a semi, a nice clear view over that short wall. 😧😧🫣🫣🫣 Did you consider riding the one way road into the gorge and up the other side? I don't have the nerve for it.
