What are the laws in regards to wheelies Endos and wheel spin? Is it a ticket or a felony?

@@Brian-mp2mv Wrong. Our tow trucks do just fine ALL year round. DUH....The I-90 corridor goes right through here. Nonetheless, the rally is a big revenue bringing bonus. $200+ towing fee plus $200 per day impound fees. Most of these poser sheeple bikers leave here nothing short of dog dick broke. If you want to piss with the big dogs, you gotta get that leg high enough.

I've been to Sturgis and they generally go after people doing Triple-Digits.......usually RIGHT outside town, trying to catch drunk idiots going to their Camp......other than that, I really don't see many cops there Outside town, they just Don't have the budget, it's mainly to enforce "inner town" type shit.....if you're on back roads or Wyoming, you can pretty much do 140mph all day long.

Oh yeah - FMVSS 108 (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) (49 CFR Part 571.108 S7.9.4) allows motorcycle headlight modulation systems all 50 states provided they comply with the standards set forth in this section. Title 49 USC 30103 (b1) (US Codes) prohibits any state from forbidding a system that conforms to FMVSS 108.

Headlight modulators are for tools. They mimic the blink pattern of emergency flashers and distract drivers more than keep you safe.

There are also laws and court decisions which say unconstitutional laws are not laws at all and don't have to be complied with... hope you have lots of money for lawyers if you go that route... cops don't care one way or the other what the law says if they want to write that ticket... they know 99.99% of the people will simply pay the fine and go home.

There are some companies that have conversion kits but the easiest way is to buy a HD trike (2 versions) or possible a Can Am Spyder

Okay sidecar onto your present motorcycle on you can prolong your riding bikes are expensive and once you've done that to your bike then you are left with a pile of expensive part you'll find that your wife will like riding in the sidecar better than pillion because they can see things besides the back of your helmet they can sleep they can eat they can read most feel more comfortable in the Sidecar

@@MrJimmy1437 in my experience there are two riders out there: the riders that are all about look at me and the riders who just love ther ride The riders that are all about look at me are the people who invest tens of thousands of dollars into a bike they never ride or the kids who think it's cool to do wheelies down the freeway or blast down the road at 95 miles an hour. You know the show offs. Me, I ride a Harley, pretty much stock except for a little engine work and a couple of trinkets to add comfort to the road. I'm not a Harley snob as I know several people are. Kawasaki Suzuki Honda Indian even victories: I have ridden with writers from every brand. But it's not just writers who have to be the look at me crowd as you can notice in any Camaro or Corvette or other car rally..... Granted I do believe that there are more of the look at me crowd amongst Harley Davidson owners than any other brand but not all of us are like that

@@CplDon63 I just don't understand why a person, would buy a Harley that costs, 25,000, that makes 56-66 hp that has an old design push rod engine, that is overweight, vibrates,is not reliable etc when for 15,000 you can buy a Yamaha FJR that makes 148HP, is smooth as silk, very reliable, fast, and handles like a race bike! A friend bought a new Harley last year, and it broke down, at 2,000 miles! I have a Yamaha FJR that has 88,000 miles and nobody has ever seen the engine except the people, who built it! It runs like new and the spark plugs have never been changed!

I rode an Electra glide for work for years and it never let me down. I got friends who ride Yamaha, Honda , Indian, Suzuki and even a victory..... nothing more than what makes you happy........ two wheels, open road, no destination..........

They are the same as any other time of year in South Dakota. All the states gun laws remain the same. Carrying a firearm on a motorcycle - SDCL 32-20-6.6 states that "No person, other than a law enforcement officer or conservation officer, or any person on the person's own land or land leased by the person, may operate or ride on any motorcycle or off-road vehicle with any firearm in the person's possession unless the firearm is completely unloaded and within a carrying case which encloses the entire firearm. However, this section does not apply to any person who is carrying a pistol and possesses a permit to carry a concealed pistol issued pursuant to chapter 23-7. This section does not apply to any person who holds a permit issued pursuant to § 41-8-37 while engaged in hunting from an off-road vehicle in accordance with the provisions of the permit."

@@jpcycles maybe thats what the statute says but my motorcycle club was jacked up big time last year.Didnt matter if you carried a concealed carry permit from a state recognised by the state of South Dakota.This happened within Sturgis city limits only

Don't need one at Sturgis. It will only cause you problems. Only my opinion and experience.
