Because this expert could blow your theory out of the water in seconds. That is why he is the expert with decades of experience and you are on RU-vid asking beginner questions.
A knife will cut through leather gloves. Very unlikely the perp's dna is not at that crime scene. But you are right in that the perp could have been well organised and protected himself with special type of gloves that do not cut. That protection would have to include forearms as well.
Gloves, handguard on knife, retention ring on knife, etc. The knife they claim he used does indeed have a handguard by design so... don't count on the perp cutting themselves.
Patience to find the correct killers. I wish the police would use the specialized people and get the best equipment. You set up A JUSTGIVING PAGE FOR ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT AND MORE QUALIFIED STAFF. I am in United Kingdom i am wanting to help as are other mothers and fathers. Our Children should be save. Let us all put in a little to make a lot. A BIG DIFFERENCE, HELP THE POLICE OFFICERS DEFEND OUR YOUR CHILDREN. Let me know you have it set up. We will get justice, even if it takes its time. Getting the correct persons on any murder case is the main reason we want the killers to be brought to justice. God Bless All. Love Bernadette U.K.
Utah & Idaho are mostly Mormons who make genealogy their #1 goal (so as to baptize & save everyone) There are many who make that a career here. Looking up DNA (family trees) is easy for anyone. They will dbl check it
@@okdk7 Good point "crime scene" With DNA being such an identifier now I bet there is someone on the LEO force but we would never know in a case like this. Im sure it will be dbl checked by more than one expert. They may even send data out of state but our states are notorious for being the best.
Law Enforcement Forensic/Investigative Genealogists cannot use 23andMe or AncestryDNA. LE can only use GEDmatch and FTDNA databases for their research. On GEDmatch, users can opt in to use by LE, on FTDNA the default is opted-in.
If we took DNA from every male child that is born, then we would have most of criminal DNA on file, and ready to be accessed when they start acting out like this. Now THAT would be a Deterrent.
@@lizjackson2630 With what? With the Terms of Service for the various DNA companies? Or did you intend to reply to Where Is Your Humanity who wants all males to be DNA tested at birth. That's a no-go for me.
Well forget D.N.A on the doors and around the house because the two surviving roommates called some friends first to come over so that contaminated everything! Unbelievable even a 6yr old knows to call 911. You would think being in College you would know something so simple.
Crime site DNA is no good if the killers DNA is not, registered on file. They need to tail suspects and nab bubble, gum or cups the perpetrator throws away

As they explained there has to be dna to match it to. If the person was not ever convicted their dna wouldn't be in codis. If they had a suspect in custody they could see if that person's dna matches what they found in the house.
@@whereisyourhumanity7557 From a lot of the comments I have seen on various posts over the past few weeks I think there are a lot of people out there that think that is what happens.
