In this video we have discussed the Elongation and termination process of replication in prokaryotes.
The Elongation process starts immediately after initiation by adding nucleotides to the chain.
The DNA polymerase III drives the Elongation process in both strands.
It works 5 prime to 3 prime end so that in one strand it runs continuously and in one strand it needs to jump back again and again in order to run 5 to -3 prime end.
Then Termination is done by TER sequences and TUS proteins.
