I’ve played a few rounds on D&D Beyond and it works fairly smoothly. My wants and needs are all addressed within their roadmap. The character sheet is amazing and is IMO the best out there. Dynamic lighting and doors would definitely be something I’d look for them to add down the road.

Hi Flint. Thank you for the video. One issue I am having is, when I roll for creatures as the DM, I get a message VTT not found. I know my dice in D&D beyond have been turned off and I have beyond20 to see my rolls in roll20. Do you know how I can fix this?

Thanks for bringing AboveVTT to my attention, I had never heard of it before. I watched a tutorial on it and it seems amazing. I really like the motion maps. I guess there's no difference except character creation. If you only want to create a few characters, then the free dnd beyond account is fine. We'll see what else they may add.
