Rogues are selfish, not stupid. He's seen the kind of people that operate under the water, and he knows he's (literally) out of his depth. He doesn't want to get on anyone's bad side down here, mostly for selfish reasons(like wanting to survive).

Patrick I'm just saying he's less roguish ninja and more armorless samurai. He's so devoted to one side of his character this "new leaf warrior code" thing he's doing now while ignoring his old character, only calling upon his previous deviousness when he's trying to impress someone. If he wanted to play an honest lawful good character with Eastern Isles flare, he should've just crested a samurai fighter

@@PrinceofTheMonsters Honestly, I think that's just who Greckles has always been. He only really seems to have chosen Arcane Trickter because he wanted to be a Naruto-lke character. The only real difference nowadays seems to be that there haven't been as many chances for him to do the few truly rogue-like things that the character actually does. The severity of the current quest might just be making the changes the character has actually gone through come across as more severe than they actually are.

I agree. But while silly, that extra rule made it really fun to listen to.

Not many people do. At least not the actual definition... I've had people tell me that out-of-world jokes made with the character's voice and inter-player conversations are metagaming. Not even specifically inter-player combat decisions, but players just bantering with each other.

The problem would be getting THE FLOWER OF DEATH to agree to that, they would just want to consume Alavast, the Orin Clergy, and anything else they can. The only person we know who they were hospitable to was Ivan, who was (allegedly) killed by a certain Paladin of Avin, who is not the bad guy in this situation (If he goes the racial program goes too and that would be bad). Better idea would be to try and plant some of the forest in whenever the Orin Clergy is from let it absorb that city and wipe out the clergy's holy land to force them to focus on that for awhile until Alavast can get some kind of alliances going. If nothing else Fleur de Mort would probably relish the idea of slowly devouring a nation of Zelots who's main ofensive powers (light and fire) do jack shit to him.

oh fuck off Gaijin is trying to be invincible never caught in anything man like he always does. What happened there was he charged into the brush like an idiot and got what he deserved for it. He basically tried to do the little kid 'nu uh that didnt hit me cause I got special armour' shit but in the form of my character would never fall for anything ever and its really lame. He did not check for traps. He did not look around for danger. He did the same thing when she gave Task who is supposed to know about dragons a roll and he tried very hard to get in on it. Gaijin does this kind of shit fucking constantly. I have criticism for Monty but its not this thing that is just Gaijin trying to be the dm all the time
