I've played this game until 1 am since update. So I'll give you another tips for playing the game! (Some of them r basic amongus knowledge tho hh) - sometimes telling your role might make you in disadvantage, example if you're a guard cc will avoid you (for mimic this doesn't qualify since cc can mimic and blame other ppl with this esp if you told them you're a guard). It depends on the situation, I was a guard and was nearby someone and a second after I got killed so I got a witness on who killed me! (Esp since i told them I was sus on that specific person) - Remember every information in meeting, it might help in the long go, even if you don't remember everything remembering most of it helps the game for you to minimalize your suspicion. - Never trust anyone and never be near anyone, because no one is to be trusted in this game (no, i just have ptsd from courier) - ALWAYS keep an eye for your surroundings, perception and hearing.this is how I won most of the time, let the other do task because your task is unlimited (from what I deduce since I only do my task 1/3 the time) this is how I won most of the time, keep your teammate safe, always remember who's number's who and when it's a fresh kill, LOOK OUT, don't immediately report, it might rlly help you! - some of cc and mystery guest (fool) are very obvious by behavior, having a keen eye for their behavior leads to your advantage! Ex following for a very long time when you're alone or "it's number 2 they're the killer" wihout proof, some are more subtle, but trust me, it's pretty easy when you see it in game CC: - don't save your skills, esp of you cc. cc, your skill is your savior, it's the key to make chaos, that's your mindgame. It's really hard for you if you never use your skill, and as the video says, sabotage helps, esp the power and rest one imo - have an alibi for atleast one round, it's obvious, but you can fool people with this - copycats tend to make a really specific lie to get away. I learnt this from many crime videos that usually red handed people make very detailed lie, so it's like a double edged sword. After a kill, get as far as you can from the kill, don't make your location specific, it can be near the kill, but be vague about it (ex: I killed in dining room when lights out so I went near the hallway in cctv and said "I was at cctv and I saw someone got killed, i was otw to report but i don't see the killer.") it sounded hard, but ppl in this gamemode atm are pretty silly so you usually fool them out easily - learn to be manipulative and take advantage of every information you have. I remember being a cc and when the guard was killed by my teammate who's cc I was able to easily frame the innocent even when they saw my friend mimicked in front of them (although with the more knowledge ppl have i trust this won't be effective anymore) and get a win Lastly remember to have fun everyone! No matter if you're friend's the cc or whatnot, I honestly have so much fun in this game with no hate, it's just a playful banter at most haha, goodluck with your detective, mg, cc matches! (I didn't think this would be a VERY long one.. Im sorry y'all)

The game is so chaotic, I love it. My favorite recent memory is managing to get the most insane, last minute clutch victory as vagrant, only to die minute 1 in the following game, lol. Truly, anything can happen.
Honestly, copycat is the only game in entertainment mode I can actually have fun with vc. I love deduction games especially when they have proximity chat. What I don't like is that there's at least 1 simp in one session. It actually made me deeply uncomfortable when some said they want to get freaky with me
I played a match today as burglar, I made the lights go off and when there were 3 people at the cipher I turned invisible and killed one of them. The one decoding the cipher called a meeting and accused the other one, they said that there could be a burglar so they let them go on the condition everyone would meet at the dining room so someone would verify the suspect, right as the cooldown for the detective was over I turned the lights off again and did the same thing, killing the detective this time. I hope nobody does this to me, being targeted like this must feel really bad, anyway they voted the "killer" out, pretty fun game
Also please turn on the mic thing so you can hear others, so many times i was talking for a whole minute and people after where asking me why i called the meeting

One thing i would suggest is for everyone to claim their role. It helps fasten the deduction process A LOT. even though there is chess master, it is quite slow and if you get all evils out it won’t have time
I just played copycat yesterday and yeah, you weren't wrong about the whole issue with the lag. I played on PC a few times to get through the missions and have fun, but everytime I do, it has been a mess. It even led to my deduction points being reduced because the game thinks I went afk, when it was their server that was having to struggle on its knees. I think the mode is fun, but it needs a hell of a lot of optimization. I don't want to think how it can even handle itself on mobile if playing it on its PC port is THIS bad.
I was playing with my friends, I got disconnected... When I got my wifi back we were in a meeting and 2 people died qwq So I told them "Ok, I know you're gonna laugh but I kinda got disconnected..." I got voted out. I Was a detective. We were in custom btw- Have a great day or night to people passing bye my comment : D

I love copycats but I'm gonna need to play it on NA EU cus almost no one speaks the languages I know in Asia server (definitely not an excuse to play as ann takamaki on my na eu acc cus I accidently got her over there)

I got invited into the game the SECOND I logged into the game. I was honest with them. I never cared for Among Us or any of the games like it. It's just not my kind of game. Of course, I saw the killer (copycat?) and told them in the meeting who did it but to PLEASE kick me out. I hate this game mode. They listened, and I got free - only for another friend to invite me in. This time, I just told them good luck and left. I was called "not a real alpha" for it. I honestly can not understand the joy of the game, it just takes forever, but I suppose if you are done with everything else in the game and STILL want to play IDV, then I guess that's why it's there. The only thing I like about Copycat is the frame, but I'll never want it that badly, so I'll just be without. Still, this video is super adorable and I love your little rants and jokes. ❤
The basic principles of the game are like werewolf. It's tricky at first but it's fun after you get the hang of it. Also thank you so much for watching ^^
