DT is right though. Harry Maguire DOES NOT look like your typical footballer. He's good though, don't get me wrong, but he just looks like the dodgy uncle who always borrows money from your parents.
I'm not gonna lie I agree with dt, Robbie needs to stop interrupting him, it happens for too often, and I don't often see dt interrupting Robbie aswell
Willock should start infront of Xhaka. And Reiss Nelson should get his opportunity in the side aswell. Perhaps in the cups, or if Auba/Pepe/Laca is unavailable or performing poorly. As an Arsenal fan, i hope each and every day, i dont see Mustafi or Xhaka in the side ever again.
Big up DT - I'm 100% behind you on paternity leave. The birth of your child, and quality time you spend with them in the early days is priceless. You will never get that time back and no amount of money can compensate for it 👍🏼
Dt really trying the tough love approach on xhaka he really likes him and defend some of his actions but have to criticize him so fans won’t get on his back and bully him .
@@krishkr7 did you win any European trophy for the past 130 years ? Even spurs have more than you lot and even though taa got nutmegged or Robbo got spun we still beat you 3-1 and you lot were barely in the game lol . I swear dumb asian football fans are so deluded.
Kosovo are ranked like 120th or 130th in the world .... honestly England fans get carried away too easily, only decent team you've beaten in a official match in the last 18 months is Colombia who didn't have James and they took you to penalties.... Croatia exposed you.
this man, like I don't want to downplay wins but getting overhyped is what will keep England below France, Germany Spain Holland and South America. Germany would have been grilled for conceding the goals England have.
Leno Bellerin The Greek Luiz The Jock 5 ft 1 The spainiard Luiz look alike Lacca Abam Pepe That’s the best 11 when all fit, in my opinion, (the jock, obviously we haven’t seen yet, but word is he’s 👍).
DT makes a solid point about xhaka and the paternal leave. This happened to Man city to a much more important player (arguable as there is better back up in the city team) ; David silva- he took most of the season off and would come back for a game once every now and again. That was due to his sons pre mature birth. At the end of the day all the money in the world can't replace another life, and without the money football is just a game
Brilliant stuff guys! I will never, EVER understand the Troy Deeney forgiveness from DT, but when it comes to cojones it takes some pretty big ones to still kind of defend Xhaka. Always lots of love and respect gents!
Sokratis did play against Finland, and he was pretty average. I didn't watch their Liechtenstein game but they drew 1-1 so I guess that result speaks for itself.
MACCARONIVELLI 3Pac Sokratis is class, he’s just a bit too rash at times which leads him to make dumb mistakes like silly fouls and unwarranted yellows, even accumulating too many yellows which lead to suspensions. I’d take holding over him, no doubt.
XHAKA going on 3 weeks leave is a positive thing! It gives Uni a chance to give other players the opportunity to try alternative combinations in midfield. (E.g When Holding comes back, try David luiz & Torreira?!) Allowing others to earn zhaka's spot!
My xi GK:Leno RB: Niles CB: Sokratis CB:Luiz LB: Kolasinac CM: Guendouzi CM: Willock RW: Pepe CAM: Cabellos LW: Aubamayang ST: Lacazette (Though honestly if bellerin, Tireny and holding are fit I'd put all 3 of them In in the same formation, but i dont think they are fit)
This is by far the best RU-vid show for me 🔥🔥.. people need to be patient arsenal fans don't give anyone time now days just a joke back the manager back the team thats what fans do🔴⚪🔴⚪🔴⚪🔴
Honestly, Robbie doesn't realise how big he is. He is a successful entrepreneur and RU-vidr who appeals to a wide range of people. He has persevered through the heavy stick from media and even players like Bellerin! He has earnt the respect.
Every time Guendouzi starts the game is a huge struggle. This game is going to be no different if that’s the case. We really need to consider starting ozil at the ten with torriera or willock and ceballos behind him. Guendouzi is going to be tired from his first international call up and he’s started all 4 games this year (which have all not been top performances from the team). We really need a road game where we play well and win by multiple goals. Nothing ever comes easy for us when Guendouzi plays.
I have so much love for aubameyang because of who he is off the pitch. I think I big reason as to why Matteo was able to get so much game time last season and fit in well was because of Auba and Laca who sort of mentored him. I do hope that he does mentor some of the other young players to get them more confident because I think that Nelson needs that confidence so that he plays better.
DT UR SO RIGHT BACK 3 IS THE WAY TO GO. WE AVNT GOT A PROPER LB OR RB. WV GOT LWB RWB AND DAVID LUIZ IS IMMENSE IN A 3 PLAYING IN CENTRE OF BACK 3 AND STARTING THE ATTACK FROM THE BACK.
Imagine if Pep accepted our offer of a straight swap between Alexis and Sterling 2 years ago. That would’ve been one of our best signings of recent times as Sterling has developed into an absolute world class winger, he is soo good, if he keeps this form up than Real and Barca will surely try to sign him in the near future Maquire is overrated but it isn’t his fault, it’s the British media and the price tag and not his fault
Lis Mush That’s nonsense, have you been there and watched him train day after day under Pep? Why didn’t Sane develop as Sterling did? if Pep was the reason? Why didn’t Mangala become a world class defender under Pep? Otamendi? A manager plays an important part, i don’t deny that and maybe he wouldn’t be the same player if he went to Arsenal but you also need talent and to compare Sterling to Walcott just shows how clueless you are Do i have to remind you that Wenger developed Thierry Henry, a player who’s far superior to any player Pep ever developed at city? And what about Vieira or the world’s best left back at that time, Ashley Cole? Fabregas etc.
Phil Jones is better then Virgil Van Dick Especially his passing LOL He is just as bad as our central defenders, overrated and overpriced and at least we didn’t pay a world record fee for an OK defender. Your Defence is still poor and struggling and so is ours but the difference is that our offense is way better and is therefore more likely to get us out of trouble compared to your young, inexperienced strikers
wow i'm so happy dreams really come true it was a dream of me to be the first viewer of an aftv video. i wanna take this opportunity and thank my family and to everyone who made it possible and also i wanna thank those who took their time to read this thank you and believe in your dreams. MAMA I MADE IT🤗.
The international break is FINALLY over and it is back to action for us. We have Watford a team that's been poor this season. I have been shocked by how they have started the season BUT we know that a trip to Vicarage Road is always a tough one if our recent results there are anything to go by. Plus the fact that they have a new man in the helm will galvanize them so we should approach this game cautiously. I want to see Torreira played in his natural DM role and I also want Ceballos to start just behind the trio of Auba, Nelson and Pepe. Having said this I think we will win and I am gonna go for Watford 1-2 Arsenal. COYG!!!!!!!! Hopefully Pepe gets his maiden Arsenal goal in this game as well.
Connor Coady was a decent DM at Liverpool. But to say he is better than Gomez, Maguire, Stones and Keane is a bit of a stretch. I saw him exposed several times against pace last season and the last thing England need is another one paced centre back. If any top 6 team picks him up then I'll think I maybe wrong. Good at Wolves, suits Wolves, stay at Wolves.
@@AaMz112 that's actually injured (rob holding) stop putting pressure on the guy. Let him get his fitness back. I hope u fans dont bash him wen he makes silly mistakes either...smh
We have the squad to make top 4 and get some good cup runs but every season we always get points where our form and mentality just drop. Given that, all the other teams around us are dropping points. Spurs are in a bad run of form and don't seem to have much without Kane. United's attack doesn't have the bite it used to and Chelsea are in an experimental stage with too many youngsters. This should be the time for Arsenal to take the initiative, but you know how our mentality and form can drop sometimes.
@@maxwills I would give anything just to see how Oz connect that front 3 I would even invite some of Liverpool City United and Chelsea fans to watch the game with me
Robbie the reason there are no Arsenal players in English squad is because we don't have many English players in the team to begin with. All the ones we have can't even get into the first team.
DT I appreciate your comments now about Troy Deeney - tho at the time Troy made his famous comments you were proper crowd baiting and sticking the boot in... ! :)
Is not about Arsenal Cojones is about Emery and his balls, every away tactics is so defensive and negative, he play in 21 away game only 5 time laca and auba from start, he just acting like he is coach for some middle table club
great podcast as always!...just do we necessarily need to bring up the cojones thing whenever we faced troy's team?...it was just his opinion regardless of the team he plays for.
All you need to do to get an idea of a footballers life is have a personal documentary series where a camera crew follow a player for several months or a year of their life and have interview with this player every so often, one to one. Something like that.
@@elie6330 hes 23, guendozie is 19, zidane rates guendouzi more then even ceballos. The way guendouzi is playinh right now hes showing more potential. Against Liverpool ceballos was trash guendouzi was far better then all our midfielders against pool.
Can someone tell me what was so great about xhaka’s second half? I can only recall him racking up fouls and passing balls sideways. I’ve never seen him move the play forward very effectively.
Can you imagine if Robbie managed to get Laca and Auba onto this podcast, would be amazing to get their take on the life of a footballer, I would pay to watch that.
it would be boring they wouldn't be able to talk about teammates other teams managers tactics etc....everything would be robot answers like every interview
That is not true, he was a monster that game no body got pass him. Mustafi dont get dribble past hell no its his lack or focus and reading plays and playing with other crap defenders like sokratis that exposes him
Ankle Socks the high line is not a problem. It’s just that they aren’t organised well enough that they can’t catch players offside. Liverpool and city both play high lines and it works for them
@shot gun hun i believe ankle sock it is that high line mistafi is a world cup winner for heaven sick. This is a man that was starting for freaking germany bra and hes still only 26 its he should just be hitting his prime for heaven sick. Without mustafi same results at the back so i am starting to feel as mustafi is not the one to blame but our bad defensive coaches. Cant have bunch of snails playing high line
Robbie doesn't want Xhaka to be in the starting XI but then he has a problem if Xhaka wants to take a 3 -week paternity leave. Look at Claude, the man is soo glad that at least that will keep Xhaka from starting games for Arsenal.
Speaking as a parent first and a supporter 2nd, give Granit Xhaka his leave. Not sure if I'm 100% correct but the law changed a few years ago and men can now take 50% of the time off (depending on the profession) Because people have money doesn't mean you should just employ a nanny. You can never get back those moments so let him enjoy the unbelievable moment happening in his life. Who knows, maybe he will come back with a new focus
Xhaka was outstanding in the Euro qualifiers too and from what I understand his wife is due around the next international break and he may miss the Bournemouth match but the break is more or less from the Swiss national team and their 2 qualifiers.
