I dont think football will last that long if you look at how technology is advancing at a scary pace human footballers would probably be replaced by ai footballers If that happens arsenal's ai squad would still probably not win a title
Don’t know about that. Such an easy excuse. How can we have “leaders” and a “strong mentality” at home but not away from home? It’s all about a lack of balance in the squad for me; we need wingers badly. Crystal Palace have won at Arsenal and Man City this season.. Teams like Watford, Leicester City, Newcastle don’t have more experienced players than us yet have a better away record.. Do they have better leaders than us?
The difference is after the 1st season is that Liverpool sold players for really good money and then gave it to klopp to spend and strengthen!! And then sorted his defence out. Can't see arsenal selling anyone for top money (Ramsey free) or can I see them getting decent money to spend and I can't see us sorting our defending out.
Yep pretty much, we got excited because it looked like Sanllehi and Emery sorted out the years of mismanagement instantly, we had forgotten what a massive mess Wenger and Gazidis left and underestimated how long it would take to fix it especially with no support from the owner.
We have no style of play atm. That's due to the players we have. Smith-Rowe, Willock, Nketia, Nelson,Saka all these players need to be fast tracked to the 1st team along with any players we buy this summer, clear out the dead wood, it cant get any worse really. Arsenal players are scared of defending and getting hurt.
Players to sale or release Ramsey - (heading to Juventus) Cech - (Retired) Mustafi - (enough said) Ozil - (extremly inconsistent) Mikitharian - (not good enough) Jenkinson - (not good enough) Welbeck - (extremely injury prone, another Jack Wilshire) Mavrapanos - (should go out on loan to a good Premier League side if possible) Emery would need £ 200mil while raising 60mil from player sales CB - Konate - (RB Leipzig) - £ 50mil - (one of the best young center backs in Europe, fast, strong, athletic with very good positional sense, also technically very good on the ball) LB - Chilwell - (Leicester City) - £ 40mil - (Talented young left back who is proven in the Premier League, has pace, final ball, and dribbling ability) CAM - Bruno Fernandes - (Sporting Lisbon) - £ 40mil - (perfect Ramsey replacement, great engine, good tackler, very good vision to see a pass and make a pass, great long-range shooter) RW - Pepe - (Lille) - £ 60mil - (goalscoring winger who creates a lot of chances for his teammates also) LW - Anderson - (West Ham) - £ 50mil - (excellent ball carrier who can link midfield to attack very, very quickly) CF - Wesley - (Club Brugge) - £ 15mil - (strong and powerful young center forward who can hold the ball up, and bring others into play as well as dominate in the air, a plan B as well and can be a thorn away from home) But off course, we would need Champions League football
Good suggestions dude, but id keep Ozil, swap out Tierney for Chilwell - both very similar, but the Celtic player is lightning quick and is much cheaper. id also think Pepe will be snapped up by some richer, more successful club, so maybe Bailey or Zaha would be a good shout, although both dont score as many as Pepe. But yeh this is all IF Arsenal get Champions League football. If not i wouldnt be shocked to see them trying to sign bang average players like Evans, Danny Drinkwater, and Banega
If Arsenal don't make the Top 4 you know someone will make a video of DT, Troopz, Heavy D and other Arsenal fans celebrating wildly against Man U, Newcastle and Rennes and then their rants of not making the Top 4
I want to see this great club play UCL next season.. Fed up of the Europa League.... Come on boys let’s not bottle this chance (beside winning UEL, we still have great chance of finishing in top 4)
It will be good to be back in the CL but this squad is far from good enough to go far in the tournament, the only positives would be Arsenal get a lot of money from CL. Then we don't want to be humiliated by Bayern Munich or Barcelona do we
The only reason we will be in the Champions League is because everyone else is shit and gave us the chance . It's like in School being the first in Math with 40% , because everyone else had 20% , doesn't mean you're a math genius now .
As a Liverpool, a good example is manes tackle before salahs goal away at Southampton. Leading doesn’t always have to be vocal, that’s a good example of leading through action
How can you blame kroenke, arsenal have never been a big buying club, they have always only spent money with the money that they make thru the club, self sustainable
Kroenke literally embellishes our mentality, our lack of ambition. You can’t have an ambitious football club with a lack lustre, money grabbing owner. You can only go so far
Still blame wenger and keswick on this.. how come you spend 35 millions on mustafi, another 35 millions on Granit while the blues bought kante just for 30 millions... that's why kroenke does not care
I,M NOT A ARSENAL FAN BUT DT IS SO PASSIONATE AND BREAKS IT DOWN AND MAKES SO MUCH SENSE THAT BELIEVE ME ARSENAL MANAGEMENT AND FANS ARE LISTENING TO DT BUT ONLY THE FANS HEAR HIM KEEP IT UP DT
Our lack of dribblers is really hurting us. When you have plays who dribble it forces players out of position and creates space for others. We have never replaced Alexis and Ox.
I’m 22 been an Arsenal fan forever: My list of players dat most go, n I like most of this players but they not good enough: Miki waste of wages Ozil waste of wages Welbeck waste of space Iwobi time for Reiss Nelson Ramsey is already gone😢 Monreal I like but we need another lb Mustafi most go by all means. Terminate contract Kolscieny time is up Jerkinson time is up waste of space n wages Elneny not an arsenal caliber at all Cech legend happy retirement Xhaka Ospina Litch rb out waste of space 14 players out to clean up squad n found a rebuild.
Robbie cracks me up when he angry. So u realistic with his potential signing - de ligt, alaba, koulibaly, umtiti, zaha. We aint getting none of them because we wont get the funds.
Arsenal need to do everything to get CL and sign Jonathan Tah, Jamal Lewis, Doucoure and Nicolas Pepe. Players at the right age with steel, pace & power who will fit the system emery wants. It took klopp 4 years, 8 transfer windows to start competing & he still hasn’t won anything. BE PATIENT these are still Wenger’s players. Welbeck, Elneny, mustafi, mkhi, jenkinson will be home this summer. Iwobi has one more season to prove himself
Dt makes a great point about how we used to be a really good away team not long ago. This is a new phenomenon. In like 2015-2016 I think we had beat away record in the league.
As a Liverpool fan, here’s what I’d do with the current Arsenal squad: Keep as starting players: Leno (decent keeper who can improve) Torreria (fantastic player, probably the best signing of the last summer transfer market) Lacazette (Hard working forward who has a respectable goal return (your Firmino)) Aubameyang (one of the best strikers in the world) Sokratis (decent centre back) Keep as squad players: Ozil (can potentially come on and do something if needed, but he’s very inconsistent) Xhaxa (never been a big fan of him, but he seems to have a good partnership with torreria) Koscielny (never rated him even when he was “good”, but he’s a decent 3rd or 4th choice centre back) Lichsteiner (experienced player who can calm the team down if needed) Bellerin (never really rated him either, but he’s a decent back up) Kolasinac (a attack minded left back who can be suspect at defending, my god you have a Moreno too!?!) Sell: Literally everyone else. The rest are not good enough for Arsenal in my opinion. I remember a time when Arsenal had fabregas, nasiri, Van persie, clichy and so on. They were good players, so why have the standards dropped so much in that ten year period that average players like Xhaxa are considered good enough to start for Arsenal week in week out?
Did you know that there are different accoustics for different stadiums? Sometimes smaller stadiums have better accoustic so the players get the feeling that the support is massive.
You’re right about the leadership thing. And as a Liverpool fan the one thing I’m thankful for is the amount of leaders we have. It’s not just Van Dijk. There is Henderson, the real captain of England and as loud and as aggressive as anyone on the pitch, there’s Milner. There’s wijnaldum. There’s Lovren, captain of Croatia, Robertson captain of Scotland. We have half a team of leaders who fight and the rest listen and work hard. Arsenal need to go out and not just buy “a” leader. They need to go buy 4 or 5 captains and stick them in a team. Oh, and we bought Firmino from Hoffenheim 😁
We have to start changing our tactics away from home. We know how poor we are and things aren't changing. We should take a more conservative approach and play the game not to lose as our first priority. We always play our game, get countered, concede and lose. We should go to these away games and have men sit behind the ball (similar to what these teams do to us). If we play for the draw like that, we can knick away wins and at the same time limit the loses that we have away from home. Even if we turned some of our away losses into draws, that would have been enough to cement us in the top 4. A Mourinho like approach is needed for these away games.
Wastful ? Aubameyang joint top scorer laccazette 14 goals between them they have the 2nd joint best percentage of accuracy in Europe as a strike partnership.I call Bullshit
They waste lots of chances especially Aubemayang, if they scored those easy chances that miss, we probably would be third now enjoying seeing spurs chelsea and united slug it out for the 4th spot
Leno underperformed in his first 4 months at the club, he would make alot of mistakes. Recently he has been very solid, but replacing him with Cech in any of thos games wouldnt have been much a loss.
About lifting the crowd I don’t agree with Robbie Sokratis and laca at every chance they get lift the crowd laca takes that pop shot and Sokratis makes that last ditch tackle
DT said Lewis Dunk 😂 the man who plays in a deep block for Brighton week in week out 😭 Imagine him in a possession based side like Arsenal, he’d be hoofing long balls to Auba loool
Agree, it's like goalkeepers at bottom clubs look good because they're so busy (shot stopping) but don't work top clubs because it's a different challenge. Robbie & DT are Jokers
The problem with Iwobi is that we've being playing him out of position! He is an AM/Central midfielder and definitely NOT a winger! If he, Iwobi leaves, then watch him become a huge player wherever else he goes.
Things I want out of our club before the start of next season: Steve Bould, Iwobi (On Loan), Monreal, Lichsteiner, Koscielny, Mkhitaryan, Mustafi, Elneny and Jenkinson. With all this deadwood out we either need to give chances to the youth or the players that will be returning from loan spells (Nelson, Martinez, Chambers and Smith-Rowe)
We just need a proper Squad. Get rid of the players that are simply not good enough and get a full Squad that can compete ! We’re Arsenal. One of the biggest clubs in world football. My full Squad for next season: GK: Leno , Romero, Pope CB: Sokratis , Holding , Umtiti, Hermoso, Koscielny, Romagnoli LWB/RWB: Bellerin , Doherty , Wan-Bissaka, Grimaldo, Kolasinac, Digne CM: Torreira, Guendouzi, Neves, Doucoure, Maitland-Niles, Loftus-Cheek CAM: Van De Beek, Zaniolo, Smith-Rowe LW/RW: Fraser, Nelson, Pepe, Mahrez, Saka ST: Auba, Laca, John-Jules, Rondon
We need to start AFTV vs T-Series! Robbie needs money so he can take over Arsenal and hire his own staff. Robbie: Owner Troopz : Motivatioal speaker DT: Headcoach TY: Merch guy Claude: Angry hot dog vendor Kalechi: Stadium Announcer
I commented on one of the videos a few weeks ago saying all of chelsea united and arsenal will finish on 73 points and arsenal will probably nick it on goal difference
I know everyone is a bit down at the moment, but look where we are at. Still in for top 4, with a real chance since chels play poonited and a very winable semifinal against an average spanish side. At the begining of the year we would have jumped at being in our current situation
Sun Tzu I reckon Vieira and Henry should come in and speak to the lads about what it means to play for Arsenal and just share some experience with the younger players
Arsenal have veen very lucky when they have played at home. Could have lost so many games this season. Like when they played Everton, Watford, Fulham and Wolves earlier this season. If these teams were clinical when they played Arsenal they would have smashed you.
We dont even need fancy players. If we stuck a handful of drilled players to play across the defence and CM it'll be interesting. In: Zaha, Sigurdsson, Dunk, Duffy, Tarkowski, Wan Bissaka, Mahrez, Tielemans
Youth players like nkethiah, willock, saka, Nelson and Row Smith all need to come to the first team and sell all the deadwoods like, Mustafi, Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Chambers, welbeck and even Kos and Monreal. Then buy 3 new signings 🙏 pls God🤲
Nelson and Smith Rowe definitely. But I don't think Nkethiah, Willock and Saka are ready yet. They need a season on loan in my opinion. I agree with all the deadwoods apart from Chambers and Kos. Add Jenkinson, Lichenstina and Ozil/Miki to that list.
@@amanred9337 what you mean? Nketiah played 15 mins and played well better than mkhitaryan who played 75min. But the real reason I say that is cause we dont have enough budget to spend on players cause that twat Kroenke wont spend, so our best option is to promote the youth and buy 3 signings and get rid off the deadwood.
@@ratedg100 That's true. I'm not saying he and Willock don't have a bright futures, but I just think they need more first-team experience as they have largely played at under 23 level. Nelson has had a great season in the Bundesliga and will be ready to challenge for the first team next season as will Smith Rowe. I think selling Ozil or Mkhitaryan would help free up our wage bill to invest other players.
Bosnianpowerhouse imo I think that we will beat Chelsea and win the rest of our games and that arsenal will lose a game either to Leicester or Burnley, same with Chelsea 🤷🏽♂️
Only players good enough. Leno, need to bring in another top keeper to challenge him. Bellerin and Holding depending on how they return from injury. Torreria and Lacazette. We need a whole new 11.
Holding, bellerin and welbeck have been big misses this season. I know before anyone starts (welbeck lol) but auba and laca have looked somewhat tired from what I’ve seen. Strengthening/chopping players who’re not the quality we need is 100% needed next year. The players I’d like to see brought in are Kai Havertz for Rambo. Dayot upmecano for mustafi David Neres to give us some width. Ruben neves to give xhaka some competition
DT WAS TALKING ABOUT KONATE AND UPAMECANO TWO 19 YEAR OLD TALL STRONG BLACK FAST BEASTS 6,4 and 6’0 GREAT ON THE BALL AND RAPID. Shutting down Bayern and Dortmund keeping the best defensive record you splash and get them both 70 mil take them.
"When the FOUNDATION is faulty, everything you build on it WON'T hold"!. We all know that we need defensive reinforcements, but more importantly it needs to be supplemented with defensive COACHING as well. Even Wenger's successes were down to him inheriting a solid back line from Graham, which he built on that and the trophies flowed.
Emery wants to play possession football away from home but we are so terrible at defending counter attacks, it doesn’t work for us, but then again we also can’t absorb pressure and attack on the counter coz we are terrible at defending
I supported the club without trophies for 9 years. Yeah, I am not smart but that's what Love is! I am a stubborn man who can never walk away from Arsenal.
My opinion: does anyone else think we play “too much football” on away games that saying too much of the ball? Most of our losses we have over 65% possession. I think we need to play to the occasion of the type of game. Home games attack with cut throat. Away games stay compact, organized and patience also try to counterattack idk I hope we figured it out!
Building on DT's Liverpool point. They've only conceded more than 1 goal in a game 3 times this season. 2 of those 3 games they won. The other was a 2-1 loss at City. Which shows not only how solid they are, but how they react to conceding a goal and how much it pisses them off.
