I don't see anything wrong with being reserved as I myself am a reserved person, I like people are respectful and peaceful with one another, of course if someone ask for help I will help as best I can if it's to do with directions or places, also i didn't know Americans talk to random strangers like I don't like talking to random strangers on public transport because we'll there a stranger, gladly I don't live in the US so I don't gotta be anxious of random people talking to me.

One time in Miami a high schooler African American decided to sit next to me and look at what I was doing on the computer. I was silent and looked at him like "..." and he went away. :-) In Miami you find the loudest of all people: Cubans.

The biggest perception that I had as a man with many tattoos was that people would either be scared of me, or they would stay clear of me altogether. I've been twice now and I can honestly say that 99% of the time nobody even bats an eyelid. Once a day you may encounter some disdain or refusal of entry somewhere, but overall I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly Japanese people were to me, even initiating conversation which I totally didn't expect.

Your first 2 girls from the UK, one looks like the girl that tried out for a international kpop group. Interesting.. We all have stereotypes of people, which is normal, because of the limited access to their culture, country or language. Their is nothing wrong with stereotypes unless we don't update your views after meeting people that are different from you. That is how our though process work for us humans.

I think this one was probably filmed in late October since some referred to Halloween and the gentleman with the blue hair had a lot of pumpkin buttons (mind you that's not totally conclusive cause I do too, pretty much year round 😅)

Filmed before winter and loaded video later. Japan tho have warmer winter than for example here in Finland where I live (or some other nordic/european country) 😂 I was in t-shirt and shorts in Japan November 2016 when it was still +20 outside, that is warm weather to us europeans 👌😂

Foreigners have stereotypes of foreigners in general. Japan or otherwise but what does one expect. When your exposure to Japanese is so limited. However there is an entirely different context here to also think about as well. Race and culture can be two different things. If you grow up Asian-American, you know that better than most. That might be a better topic for Asian Boss here. But it's still an interesting one nevertheless. Great discussion as always here however and appreciate Nobita keeping it real. :)

That japanese are tiny. Many males are about same height and size as women in Europe, they tend to have less muscles too and many are so skinny too (both males and females)

*Just the inappropriate stereotypes.* - The Robot/Herd Mentalities of Work obsessed ethics, or fear of differing from the majority. - The Overworked related death rates. - The Suicide Rates. - The Low-birthrates. - Ageing Population. - The elderly taking advantage of the youthful generations. - The family issues of favoritism or cheating. - The conflicting ideals of limits on creativity, yet sexualization is forwarded. - That the typical Japanese Male being favored as weak-minded, or immasculine. - That Underaged Japanese girls are favored by the majority. - The Classic Ninja Theories. - The History of the Yakuza Eras. - The Technological Goldmine decades, that lead to the reputation of Japan having the best technology. - The obsession with everything having to be _"Cute"._ - The obsessive aspects of fantasies from Anime & Manga that infected the world with the same obsessions. - The physical and mental differences that Japanese don't look or act their appropriate ages. - The ever so lively Otaku Market, that is 70/80% sex fueled. - The attention whoring from cosplay. - The overworked shameful animation industry. - The savage idol industry. - That the ideal concept of the best type of Japanese girl has the personality of a giggling school girl, with pigeon-toed stances, flat chest, has long straight jet black hair, prefers foreigners over local guys, and always wears the shortest skirt that she is either oblivious to or intentionally flashing her panties from. *That's just off the top of my head. What am I missing?* *Please comment below, so I may add to the list.*

As a man from the States across the pond, I’d have to say that a stereotype I have is that Japanese people are super serious and have very little humor. Maybe I’m wrong and hopefully I’m wrong, taking life too seriously will put you in an early grave. You looked pretty again today, with your cute little pigtails!

BTT NAT I’ve heard of dark humor and occasional/uncommon pranks. But you need to be able to laugh at more than just making people distraught.

Apart from people that are like natural born clowns or comedian wannabes, I think its normal for us to be not saying jokes all the time because most people want to get things done by time. And I think this reply is making me sound like a serious person.
@bostontracy5151
@bostontracy5151 4 года назад
iamo san I wasn’t trying to say to joke all the time, I was trying to refer to enjoying the humor, ironic humor, and happiness in all the small things in Life. I understand wanting/needing to get things done, but you need to enjoy Life at almost all times and not stress. That’s all I’m saying. Excess stress, short term and long term stress, has been found deleterious to a persons health. I, personally, try to keep myself happy at all times.
