One common discussion point around retro gaming is whether these classics "age," and, by that definition, become less enjoyable to play today.
So this month we take a close look at that, particularly through the lens of the Game Boy, and discuss whether the majority of Game Boy games are still enjoyable, and if not, what defines the Game Boy games that still remain enjoyable today.

I replayed Silent Hill 2 recently. First time in over a decade. I didn't realize how good the game was when I was younger. I wasn't mature enough. I think that game is timeless. I think it will always be good. I think part of that reason is that video game storytelling is so bad. If you exclude visual novels there are about 3 games that I can think of that I would consider to have good stories, and Silent Hill 2 is one of them.

Orcarina of time is legit a bad game. I played it in the Wii era after I played Twilight Princess and Windwaker. In that era I also played RE1, Silent Hill, and Metal Gear Solid for the first time. Those games were still good. OOT was B-A-D

Real Fire Emblem games don't allow you to grind. How is there any challenge if your allowed to just level up characters as much as you want?
