Most people these days live with their parents due to financial reasons, not necessarily because they want to, but they have to.

the main thing ur videos teach me is that every single greek person is attractive and that also i love the way greek sounds

In the US it is becoming more and more common for Americans to live with their parents past the age of 30 because of how expensive things have become. It would not surprise me to see people from other countries having to deal with the same financial struggles.

When I was younger, I could not wait to leave home (and did) ... but now as I get older, the more I am thinking about returning home if only to spend more time around my aging parents and not just leave them to be alone. It is a strange thing - On one hand, I think I feel the social pressure or expectation (... not sure ?) to be independent and live away from home, but on the other hand, they would be so happy for me to return. 🥰

Also here in Italy its the same, young people leave around 30 or even later...the main reason is economical obviously, but its also because today we want less responsabilities, and to live alone does it mean to buy food, to cook, to clean house, to wash clothes, to pay taxes... and some some other "not funny" things that today do our Mom.

In Mexico we do that too, although young people move out young some do remain with their parents or re-move with them when they grow old
@dontreadthisplease2416
Some people respond with "well my parents made me leave the moment I turned 18" when I say I'm 22 and live at home and it's just like....I'm sorry you're so difficult to be around that your own parents couldn't stand you in the house for another moment beyond what they were legally required to give you shelter?

Curious how in most of these delightful video clip of probing questions - there are many times where the Greek person answering the questions uses a English word - this time the word was "challenges".... I am astonished to see the infiltration of English words into everyday usage of the Greek citizens.
