I've had pets in the past, and I never took them with me when I visited family. Cats are - quirky, so I would keep her at home and either have a pet sitter-or a close neighbor-check in on her.

Ditto! My pup would go to the kennel. My cat would stay at home and be visited by a cat sitter. I wouldn't dream of asking anyone to host me and my pets. It's not good manners in my book.

I vote pet sitter! - If I let my sister and 2 kids who are out of town brought their animals I would have 5 dogs and 1 cat in a 1250 sq ft house, not counting humans. People please get critter sitters.

If she chooses not to come, so be it! Some people have pet-free homes. You shouldn't feel cornered into such a decision. You're already opening your home up for the guests!

The entitlement of some people being invited to their friends child's weddings is insane. If you have no relationship with that child... then no... you're not getting invited and should not expect it. Incredibly rude.

I wouldn't even want to go to a wedding of a person I barely even know. I don't even like to go to a wedding of a person I do know. 😂

Jenna is brutal 😄. I have a cat and probably she lives alone with the cat, but t taking a cat that lives with one or two ppl to a new place full of ppl would not be a good experience for the cat either. I would find a sitter and maybe cut the trip short.

It’s presumptuous to think others love and want to accommodate your pets. No…unless it is clearly a pet zone find a sitter!!

My mother-in-law used to always try to bring her dog into my house and I finally told her "no." We live in the same town but she would stop by and always want to bring her dog inside.
