Dimash didn’t know that his father was in the crowd so if you watch longer he did find out and went to go hug him as he was feeling homesick. The original artist who performed this song only went up one octave but Dimash did it three.

There are a lot mom's that would love to see Dimash live. He has an extremely wide range of fans, young to old,male to female, LGBTQ. I have seen a couple of video's where people were showing their pets getting excited/mesmerized by Dimash. This performance of Opera 2 is the only time you'll see Dimash on this song. He was banned from performing it again by the Vitas camp. Poor Dimash had 40 •C temperature but refused to let his Dears down. He got better and better during the evening. SOS is his signature song. The first song he performed in the Chinese competition The Singer 2017 for professional singers. He was invited as a wildcard. You will surely enjoy thé soundtrack with amaizing video of Accross endless dimension, a SF italian film 👍 or do you want to see him playing dombra and singing Daididau, a very spécial song for Dimash introducing his amaizing kazakh culture at his Bastau concert. I dont want to Say more about to let you being mesmerized 😅 then Samaltau either from Tokyo Jazz festival or Silk road festival both absolutely stunning. I Saw kazakh people crying listening to that song, telling a piece of theyre History. I cried too ! Do you know he got a PhD in musicology ? And has been declared as a national treasure of Kazakhstan by thé Président (official reward) ... He raised by 30% the number of strangers coming to visit Kazakhstan at only 23 years old ... This is all mind blowing but hé stay the same humble loving guy down to earth ... It seems impossible to get all in one but WE Can witness that at least 1 exist and WE know his name 😉

he doesn't speak 13 languages, yet. he only speaks 4 at the moment. native kazakh, fluent russian, learning mandarin and english. been singing since he was 5, that's 23 years of perfecting his vocals and breathing techniques BUT he didn't fully start training his higher registers until around 2016ish because that's when he started adding a higher register to SOS. there's a compilation of him singing SOS over the years and you can see the change and growth as he becomes more confident in his vocals, especially the higher register. but that aside, he is still such an amazing person through and through. i only wish him the best going forward.

Did you watch right to the end? Dimash didn't know his father had come from Kazakhstan and was in the Audience. He was shocked an the first thing he asked him was; "Did I sing well?" ??? No this isn't Opera. Suggest you see 'Ti Amo Cosi' - where he performs with the famous operatic soprano; Aida Garifullina and the incomparable Lara Fabian. 😊👍

Hi I saw Dimash in 2018 in London I am from the north of England ,and found Dimash in2017 was just amazed,he just gets better ,he was only young here about 23

I must admit at 60 I'm obsessed with Dimash - only the 3rd artist in my life to fangirl over, so misquotes about him distress me. Dimash "SPEAKS" 2 languages fluently - Kazakh and Russian. He is learning and does speak English (improving steadily) and also learning Mandarin. He has "sung" in many different languages as do many singers. This is not opera despite its name and is a cover of a song by a famous Russian artist named Vitas.

You know what is fascinating every time I watch you? Your big eyes. Oh, I love them, they are so lovely!

@8:40, ish.. His Dad actually flew in and surprised him after his performance! Dimash had no clue he was even there until right after his performance was finished! You've got to see that! And the things that were said between them as they walked back! But, Opera 2 is originally by a singer named Vitas. And he was not happy about this as Vitas could only go up once and Dimash just blew it out of the water, and went up 4 or 5 times... anyhow, Vitas as well as Lionel Richie (for his song "Hello") Dimash did on here as well tried suing him and lost, but they were able to forbid him from ever singing their songs again! 🤦 And he actually has sung in 15 languages and has a 8+ octave range! He's absolutely an incredible person!! So very humble, kind, and genuinely good! His idols since he was little were Queen and Michael Jackson mainly ❣️ and he's done them as well 😉

Another gr8 reaction!!!! It's well worth watching these videos right to the end, to check out for any outages. Dimash did not know his dad was there, it's a lovely reunion to see. Being in China was his 1st time of being away from home, speaking, at that time, no Chinese or English. Any song he had to sing in those languages he had to learn phonetically in only 1week. There are some gr8 videos of him in interviews. If u r interested, you might like to look them out. Modt hve subtitles. U will discover what an amazing well grounded young man he is. Ps every song he sings is worthwhile watching, they will all, be different and may not have the " high" notes or whatever u like best but they are all exquisite & worth experiencing them.
