I agree with you about the stage setting, but in this case, he didn't have much to do with it. This video is from his participation in the "Singer" show in China which was a weekly singing competition show where he was the youngest ever contestent and also from Kazakhstan, not China. He ended up coming in 2nd to a very popular Chinese singer. He has more to do with the stage settings, band and backup singers and dancers in other of his RU-vid videos - especially from his Digital concert held in January 2021.
