Well done! Still stacking both even though retired. 100 oz gld...6500 oz slv. I just sleep better and at my age avoid the stock market. Keep it simple.
Bald Guy breaking down the facts. I’ve been using your videos as lesson plans for some of my coworkers. They are starting to give metals a chance. Great video and I will be looking into RUA Gold as a possible addition.
Thank you Bald Guy for another great video! I told my mom about your videos because she is concerned on where the U.S. economy is going and your videos provide information that is unbiased and well presented! Thanks again for your outstanding work! God bless you bro (John 3:16)!
Hey bro love your channel i at the moment have about half of my net worth in metals due to not trusting the banks and fed etc. But i plan eventually on using some of that gold and silver to buy real estate and so far im happy i have that much in metals because ive actually had pretty good returns the last couple of years.
About 35% of my wealth is in precious metals I have bought and inherited these metals over the years my net worth is over million, I have zero debt and unfortunately I have a large amount of Federal Reserve notes and working on getting rid of them maybe on the next metals downturn
I have a net worth of just over $2 million and a PMs holding of about 18%. Like you, cash has piled up and is in need of investing. Not sure which way I will go with it, so may just divide it among my current asset mix. I'd like to get the PMs portion of this up but no more than 25%.
Thanks for sharing your asset allocation numbers. Education, home, business and land are either more important to live life or somewhat inflation adjusted. I normally recommend 25% of paper assets to calculate the percentage for PMs for protection of wealth. So I presume that stocks, bonds and cash need hedging. Of course, those with more gold and silver would benefit more but a trading position is more personal.
I'm somewhere a bit above 15% with the price run in gold since the beginning of the year and silver more recently. I'm only adding a small amount to my stack because of that. Thanks for the mid week video!
He means he will use the metals as collateral to get a loan. For instance, he gives the bank metals and they give him cash. He then makes payments with interest each month to the bank. When the loan is paid off, he gets the metals back, which likely will increase in value and cover some of the interest lost on the loan payments. It’s an interesting idea.
If the federal deficit continues increasing and the higher interest rates are building debt while the dollar is losing value then not only is our money becoming worthless but our government is also beyond bankrupt 💸 😂
The US has been bankrupt for a couple of decades now. What else can we call a country that has to borrow money from foreigners in order to continue operating? A viable economy is one in which little to no national borrowing is needed, except in times of dire need. Even in the best of times, the US continues to borrow and print trillions of US$. This is NOT sustainable. Neither you nor I can do that for more than a short time without losing our shirts. Nations live by the same rules of economics as we do, but have much more financial inertia than we do as individuals. The end result is the same, however. It just takes a nation longer to get there. For the USSR, that took about 75 years. The USA seems to be more aggressive in this regard, so should be able to accomplish the same thing in even less time. 😕
You are a pragmatist. They actually make money consistently, as opposed to swinging for the fences every time. This is one of the best “conservative” financials channels out there.
Stocks has been in a bull market for most of the 15 years. I would bet that if he did the same data thing again but different timelines like 1965-1980 or 1995-2010 it would look much different. The best way to know if stocks or gold will perform well is the Dow/Gold ratio.
Good day Bald Guy! Interesting take on mining stocks! I think a comparison of different possible assets would be informative and useful. I initially collected coins and progressed to precious metals because they were affordable for me. I started as a means to save some of my wages. Besides, after big bank and stock scams, I didn't have confidence these assets or my understanding of the market. Holding gold and silver also feels impressive when it's in your hand! 😊
Phenomenal info! Going to look into Rua Gold. I've seen it on several other channels. Unfortunately I'm unable to find it on Robin Hood. I'll have to search somewhere else.
Thank you for this informative video. What about real estate to own as a tangle assets? In Australia properties price has been going up and up due to strong immigration.
I own a lot of Real Estate - small rentals in strategic locations. I have found they are not very capital intensive and they are always in high demand.
Should one decide to invest in the various mining categories of stock equities, how do you protect that slice of promising equity against an overall equity market decline.. that seems to always bring down ALL stocks?
Hello Bald Guy! I joined Patreon a couple of weeks ago and I cannot get into the content on you Patreon webpage. In the lower left corner it shows that I am a member and I am logged in but if I try to access content, I am asked to join so I can view the content. I have also been charged for my next month's subscription. Do you have any suggestions?
Hi Dan. I’m so sorry to hear that. Please contact Patreon immediately and they should sort you out. It’s important you do because I have provided many pullback price targets there.
80% Silver 20% Gold. Then the Gold to Silver Ratio goes to 10/1 . Then trade 60% of the Silver for Gold in 10 oz. Bars. This way you’ll will have the needed funds to buy Tax Deeds on MULTIPLE HOMES.
I wonder if I sell my BTC for gold and silver. Again. The comparison of 2022 and kow showed me: you can't rely on tech companies. But silver and gold is always a safe bet. But BTC and alts, I do believe. What would you do?
Question: Regarding “Total Net Worth” - When you refer to your net worth, are you including real estate ... including your home? - or are you referring to your total investment portfolio only - I assume the former, but, would like to know precisely how you are defining “total net worth”. Thank you for your well-balanced work.
@@baldguymoneyofficial thanks for the clarification -- I guess one needs to distinguish between "total worth", "total net worth", and, perhaps, "investment portfolio"
It’s a good comment. The truth is I don’t really want to reveal how much money I have because I don’t want to come off as show-offy or immodest. I am a regular guy - I started with nothing. Had to boil water in a stove to take a hot bath in 2 inches of water (2nd in line). I just want to share my knowledge to help people.
@@baldguymoneyofficial Agreed -- no need for one to reveal one's actual total or net worth -- but, always, interesting to hear, within the PM community, what percentage one has invested in PMs (physical, ETFs and/or mining stocks) and how one calculates that percentage -- i.e., based on total worth, net worth, or strictly based on one's liquid investment portfolio. Also, nice to hear, through discipline, hard work, ingenuity, etc., about an individual (such as yourself) building up one's personal wealth from humble beginnings.
Time will tell, but every time someone bets against stocks they are proven wrong. George Gammon hates gold and silver, says they are not money and even in Argentina they are pointless and nobody wants them. Not sure why he’s on this gold and silver bashing bandwagon but it’s pretty clear he doesn’t agree with your view point on silver and gold. He says the USA dollar and even the peso are better than gold and silver. Different view points I guess.
Percentage doesn't mean raw cash value. In all honesty, if you are holding more than $200k in metals, it is just too much. Even $80k is a lot for a working class person - about 18 months net pay tied up in anything is quite a lot.
Rua sponsored this video and I am very grateful for them. They want to build awareness in a sector that has difficulty attracting investment because everyone wants to own Tesla and NVidia.
Thank you for all your contributions. We dont see these analysis and comparisons on other channels. I have one comment and two questions. Comment: i dont think it is a fair comparison to take a timeline of the past 15 years. I would rather take the last 25 years to include the last gold bull cycle. Questions: 1) Any comparison analysis in the return of gold/silver vs real state? 2) since you are overloaded on real states, did you thought about convert 1 or more real states into gold/silver? Specially since real states returna are down and we are in a new bull cycle for the metals!
Hello Salim - thanks for your comment and questions. 15 years ago takes into account the gold and silver blow off top - you’re right - it may skew towards worse performance for metals. Questions: I have done a video comparing appreciation on real estate to gold. Check it out. / My real estate is providing me with amazing income so I would get out of that as it funds my lifestyle.
Been a while since I invested in OTC stocks. At one time I used Motley Fool. Any recommendations for the best company to use? Who do you use Mr. Bald Guy?
All comparisons are useful. Thanks for your analysis. I get why you distinguish between gold and gold stocks, but in a way gold stocks are just gold on steroids.
Interesting video. Currently have about 15% physical metals, have another 1% in mining stock. Did you buy any Rua stock? Based on their website looks like a decent gamble.
The Rua portion of this video was sponsored. I have not purchased the stock although has gone up 11% over the past 5 days. It certainly looks like an interesting bet and that's ultimately why I agreed to feature it on the channel.
The stock market is going to crash big time. But sometimes I kick myself for selling my Apple stock back in 2018. At least I got metals for cheap compared to today’s prices.
I am just afraid to lose any money in stock accounts literally. Not the markets tumbling but that is a factor too. Just the fact the accounts are denominated in dollars and I think the dollar will have no value. And the gov could take any of those accounts whenever they wanted to in order to stabilize the country by forceful seizure of wealth.
But if you’re taking profits from stocks, don’t you have to pay a capital gains? If you end up buying more stocks from your profit, that should be fine.. but when you withdrawal, government sees that as additional income, right?
Question, what is your opinion on misleading information on difference metal size? Over the years, several sellers have interchanged between pounds and ounces on bullion products. What is your point-of-view . . .
@@baldguymoneyofficial For example, one seller would offer 1/2 lb of Silver for sell. But, he used "Troy Pound" measures. Troy Pound equal 12 Troy Ounce. The buyer assured "AVDP Pound" or 16 Ounces. Have you seen or heard any examples from other buyers. I got the idea from @Silver Dragon recent video called "Confusing Things about Physical Silver". Thanks for responding to my comment . . .
Never invest money you're not willing to lose. I'm going to stack 1 year Salery in metals as a safe haven. Than I'll play my hand in the stock market. Even if I lose my Job and Lose all my money in the stock market. I'll be okay, and I'll have time to plan my next move
Great comment! I agree with you 100%! And always take responsibility for the decisions you make. Too many people like to blame others for their failures.
I sold my 6kg of silver 1kg bars right before the rally to a lcs to acquire shares. The opposite haha the only regret I have as the price went up right afterwards
Hello Mr Bald 😀😃🙂 I am a new follower of yours, and I really enjoyed learning from your videos. I would be happy if you could talk about comparing silver and gold to other metals such as copper, nickel, uranium, graphite and other metals. In addition, a comparison with commodity products such as wheat, rice, cocoa, coffee, tea, cotton. And in relation to the disgusting comment that someone wrote about you having a disgusting and ugly face, I want to say that you have the look of an honest and reliable person with good and beautiful eyes. 🤩
