Hey BGM! Loving the volatility of the silver market right now and planning to take advantage of it. Although I consider myself reasonably savvy on how money and the economy works, I have a real blind spot when it comes to premiums. Yesterday I was perusing my favorite online dealer for deals on the 10 ounce bars I like, and I noticed the spread between their "sell to us price" vs. my purchase price was $6-$7 an ounce. Would love to see you do an episode sometime on how premiums are calculated, and whether my feelings that they seem to be a tad high should be justified. Love your content!
What happens, if the collapse is due to an internet outage for several months or a year?. Now that money is linked to online banking. And everybody's data gets wiped out.
Internet outage does not equal data wiped out. That data is stored by private companies on separate servers that are backed up by other power sources. Just because you don’t have Internet - the files on your computer don’t disappear. See my point?
Other analysts have suggested that the Govt will try to keep things running smoothly until the election is over, but then let it crash and not intervene. That allows politicians to have things cleaned up before the next election cycle. The bigger issues are potential for bank failures as the BTFP closes out and sells back low yield mortgages to the banks. And how much liquidity will this take out of the economy. Lacy Hunt recently stated money has historically grown by 10 percent per year..... but during the last 4 quarters the money supply shrank by about ten percent. My takeaway is that the Fed may have very good intentions but there is a lot of distortions in the data. And then the jobs report errors are in a whole additional layer of distortion. I think making predictions and giving a precise timeline is basically impossible with the volitility that may continue due to uncertainty and the big money that has much stronger analytical teams to see the icebergs ahead and stay clear while the retail investors get clobbered.
Selling your home? No. I wouldn’t suggest that. I would suggest taking on some extra jobs to pay the debt down and to only spend on essentials moving forward (if you haven’t made those changes yet).
90% of the planet are unable to have any gold or silver simply because they are too poor to be able to save any money along with the worldwide recession my thought would be to tell them totally look at getting silver. That is the only thing they can afford, silver has the biggest upside!

Look, there's a lot of clowns on here that promise silver at $1000 by the end of the week and all their doing is trying to get views because they have no real knowledge of what they’re talking about. Most of them are just trying to get you to buy their crap. Yes, Bald Guy does have sponsors and that lets him dive deep into the facts and figures since he’s not working a 10hr job like the rest of us. There's a lot of good people on here also, I like 2is1 and Rons Basement (they are both great) but they don't go into any of the depths that Bald Guy does. Check them out for yourself and then see who the real Bullion Boss is. I don't get paid to write this so don't think it's a scam, Bald Guy has saved me so much money by buying on his purchase alerts that I'll be a paying member forever and I'll still be in the green. It's just a sad fact that there's a lot of fools on here but here's the Guy who really tries to help people.
Please stop misleading people. 1 ounce of metal is just that and cannot and never will gain or lose value. It’s ALWAYS the fiat currency that you compare it to (gambling) that changes.
@@baldguymoneyofficialagain, fiat currency isn’t money and has zero true value, only perceived value. Look into it, if that’s new to you. The point is, that it didn’t go up in value, you just need more fake money (fiat currency) to buy it.
Nobody is saying you’re wrong - but these are semantics. We know the dollar is going down - I don’t argue that it isn’t. Coming here and saying I mislead people is not only unfair, it’s a bit disingenuous because it seems we agree.

Hi, Bald guy, I am working in country A and earning a modest salary which is adequate for my daily expenses n to pay for my mortgage . I have a substantial savings parked in country B which the currency is relatively safe n stable . Would it not be prudent for me to hedge against currency collapse n inflation by having a housing loan in country A? In the event of a collapse and high inflation in country A, rhe amount of loan outstanding will still be the same but will be much less if i were to transfer my fund from country B to pay for it. In addition, the value of my property would be a hedge against currency collapse ...
It's very difficult predicting future pullbacks in PMs in these current crazy markets. PM allocation in the west is at approx 0.5 - 1% at best...way below the long term average. The West is not part of current price actions...and one thing is for sure, it won't be at prices of $2800 or $30...at best it will start to participate. What safe haven options are available apart from PMs? Bonds (considering long term trend in interest rates are up)?! Real estate (a complete disaster waiting to unfold)?! However, both options are making you easy prey for corrupt regimes. So, there are some hard core preppers holding PMs...and, considering their views on the world, they (well, possibly most of them) won't sell PMs in a crash. The East won't sell either when the West blows up imo. Btw, Steve St Angelo just said in a video silver mining costs have risen to $26.
I hear you. My point of view is that when you fully understand the role the bullion banks played in the 2008 crash and how the laws regarding collateralized loans have changed since then - things change. Thanks for watching.
Hi !! I have a question curious about type of gold. A one ounce Suisse vs one ounce coin. Does it really matter? The coin of course has higher premiums but in the end still one ounce.

Gold and Silver prices irrelevant. It will soon be a question of whether 1. you can still actually buy them, AND 2. Buy anonymously. Open your eyes, Collective West travelling head first into Totalitarian Communism. Our very own 'Russia 1918'/Fall of Rome 2.0 moment. Quickest and easiest way to travel with, hide and pass on wealth will be physical Gold and Silver, and perhaps fine art. Gas: 25 cents/gallon. I tell folks “You can always buy a gallon of gas for 25 cents. IF, your U.S. quarter is dated before 1965.” (Thus, it is silver).
Gold (and silver) will always be “real money”. You can’t print gold. Suggestion: 10% of your investments in gold/silver. Take possession of your gold. Bonus: Gold and silver FEEL great when you hold them.

In this scenario, it’s probable that capital would instead flow into gold or silver investments, as stocks and real estate are currently in a bubble. Bitcoin could serve as an alternative, but it lacks the anonymity that is a crucial aspect of a digital currency, unlike precious metals. Buckle up, there is a storm on the horizon.
Rates going down will drive the value of bonds up. This could save underwater banks. That said - the financial engineering is kicking the can down the road and it will cause more pain.
Not sure who or what to believe. Factors crop up that become the narrative that were not on anyones' radar six months or a year ago, when, if the pundits were so prescient, would have been part of the dialogue all along.Potential $22 silver and $2000 gold in 2025 were not part of the dialogue six months or a year ago. It was more like $30 silver and $3000 gold with both continuing steadily upward a dizzying rate.
I don’t think that’s true. The potential for a pullback is known. Will it play out like my worst case scenario - might not - but stackers need to be aware and prepare themselves for things that can seem scary. The latest volatility proved that many people were not prepared for that. The overall direction from here is up - but be prepared for a possible flush before moving back up again - that is the message here. Reasonable?

I don’t know what to do, I have cash money savings in the bank. And a fair amount of silver less than what I have in cash though… should I go 50/50? 30/70?
