It was so funny. Pregame all the espn talking heads picked the knicks. At halftime they all said the pacers had to start missing shots eventually. After the game they all said the knicks lost because of all the injuries.

Hali playing with a back injury. Mathurin out for the year. Knicks fans whine about injuries but they all expected to beat the pacers. 🧐

Og, brunson and hart all got injured during the series. You could argue freak accidents or you could argue that they couldn't keep up with the fastest offense in the league and compromised themselves. Ultimately the pacers know how to rotate players and won by attrition. Not their fault their opponents crumbled

They have beaten two teams who are NOT 100% healthy. Indiana is a very LUCKY team. Boston in 4.

The Pacers beat the Bucks 4-1 in the season when they were healthy. The Pacers beat the Knicks 2-1 in the season when they were healthy. They weren’t lucky.

Every team faces the same long season. Pacers was actually longer due to the in season tournament. Not having a deep bench is on the Knicks! It makes load management for a long season a real issue. The Pacers have one of the deepest teams in the league so it was not luck. It was roster building

Boston beat a heat without Butler and Cavs without Mitchell. Point being is injuries are unfortunately a part of the season. Pacers had to keep a float when Haliburton went down with his injury.

Having a good a rotation is a factor into injuries. Sure luck is some but knicks fans felt so entitled and confident in winning then make excuses whining about injuries.
