Im from Puerto Rico, and my goal has always been to live in the United States. I got no friends or family on the states that are willing to help me, so my parents see it as something impossible. I already tried moving, but I failed and I had to go back to my mom’s house and I fell in depression for months. That time I was very immature and still needed to learn more things, now two years later I feel like im ready and my gut is telling me that’s my story. My dad told me to my face that he doesn’t believe in me achieving that because of money and my desire and it truly hurt. Thats my big goal and nothing motivates me more than moving to a new place and hustle and make it happen, maybe meet someone special along the way that is going to be there for me. I will try it again, this time, I will make it. I promise. Im 26 years old, is time to finish my story. Nobody believes in me, but I believe in myself that’s enough.
