I’m Portuguese with a Japanese girlfriend and customs aside we get along great. In my opinion all humans are human and whatever culture created culture created but I’m not the culture I’m the human.

You are my favorite new interview channel. Do a video on Japanese slang or words that people use foreigners should learn but will not be taught in textbooks. This is an underrated question I have seen no one ask. Would love a video on how people use WA-KE. Or ways to sound more natural.

Hate to say it but the reality is even more different. There is a stereotype that the majority of Japanese women like white men. While in reality this is not really true. Majority of the Japanese women will still date Japanese men and if we talk about foreign men usually it is Korean, Chinese, Filipino (mostly asian countries, but the numbers are still quite low compared to Japanese men with Japanese women). Of course there some Japanese women that go with men from the UK and US. But the thing is they are mainly from Japan or Asian countries as well. They just hold the nationality from the US, UK or another European country.

Additionally, the language barrier poses another challenge, as only a limited number of people are proficient in English. Nevertheless, there is a positive trend with more individuals actively learning English, suggesting a promising outlook for an increase in Japanese women dating white men in the future.
I agree. I could even sense hesitation among Japanese women towards half-Japanese men. I donxt know why, maybe cultural difference and ignorance but yeah that is the reality

RU-vid Passport Bros and you will see why so many people from the States, Europe, and Australia are interested in Asian women and Latin women. Hell there was a viral trend you can RU-vid about asking girls would a girl prefer staying with a man or a bear. You will see the hate towards men in these countries for no reason. That lady first that these Japanese women like in foreigners is demonized here in the states. It is disrespectful for a guy to hold a door for a woman or for a guy to offer help. Whole entire Tik Toks of women shaming men for that if you don't believe. I would rather go to a place where I am respected for being a man that gets praised for being a gentlemen rather than get villainized.
I mean, she didnt say anything about the dutch guys, she just said she wanted to visit Netherlands, and when asked if a dutch guy would be her preference she said no, so its probably more about an actual place she wants to see there

How tall are you? and I'm a short guy, like 5'1 to 5'3, so I feel a little depressed. Every Japanese girl is taller than me. Would a Japense girl be willing to date a shorter guy like 5"3 or 5'1? I'm American, and not every guy over here is attractive, but I can't change my height, but I can boost my wealth and be more social and confident when approaching women.

One of the reasons I started this channel was to feel more comfortable talking to people and to have something to be proud of. So the answer to your question is "YES" of course Japanese girls will go out with you. All you need is a little confidence that you can do it! Let's gain confidence together and who knows, one day we might both have a Japanese girlfriend and see each other in Japan 😉
i have a few questions 1. Are you a good person, or at least trying to be? as a woman who is looking for a LONG TERM partner, preferably dating to marry, i do not care about height as long as the man is respectful, is confident about himself but still humble, kind- especially to the elderly, his parents, and children, and has passions for the future. and of course we have to have some chemistry. that's all that matters. i have dated men a bit shorter than me (i'm 5'2), my height, and taller than me. it all just came down to us as human beings. looks and physique don't add much to a serious relationship for someone who is not shallow (which shouldn't be someone you go for) as long as you're trying to be healthy. as i've noticed once you start genuinely loving the person, you will find them attractive in every way even if they're not up to the mainstream beauty standards (beauty is subjective and people have different preferences anyways but whatever). you don't have anything to worry about, as long as you KNOW you're a genuine warm and respectable human, you can have all the confidence to approach potential lovers :) it's either a win win for both of you, or a loss for them. 2. is there any reason to specifically only go for japanese women and wanting to only date them? you said "i'm american and not every guy over HERE.." so it means you're still in the US. are you perhaps going to japan in the future and looking to date japanese girls? sorry, your comment just came off as a bit fetishistic towards japanese women. i sincerely apologize if that's not the case :)

And right now, I'm trying to focus on my passions and doing at-home work to earn money, improve my life, and get my teeth fixed. I'm still young and stupid, and I wouldn't want to try to date right now when I'm poor and need to get my sh*t together. There will be better guys than me who have money and their lives together, you know. So I'm guessing you'll meet some guys eventually. Also, I can't speak Japanese, so I doubt dating a Japanese girl would work out. I don't mind dating any race of girl, you know. What do Japanese people mean by the lady-first culture? I would have thought Western country have a less lady-first culture because many women prefer to pay for themselves, not depend on a man, etc.
Thank you for the comment @revaholic. I believe the concept of "lady-first" in Japanese culture is akin to chivalry. Often, their perception of Western men is influenced by movie portrayals where Western individuals are depicted as embodying the principle of prioritizing the well-being and respect of women.
This is just my personal opinion, but it's pretty rare to find a Japanese man who is chivalrous. So a man who opens doors for women and does these things is considered the alpha male.
they want to meet foreign guys? Just go to any 7-11 or kobini late at night in Tokyo, the staff is almost always foreign guys. Oh by "foreign guy" you meant a White Westerner or K-pop star with cool job and money.
On the looks: I am a white guy who lives in Japan and became Japanese. It is normal to be attracted to your own race. However, the Europeans have had a dominant culture for the last 400-500 years. Also since Ancient Greek times, we celebrate the human form and thus depict it a lot. As a result, it had a huge effect on other races and countries. But I think this should stop. I feel weird at Koreans stars all look alike after plastic surgery. It is of course a personal choice but in the end, I see few Koreans getting plastic surgery to look African or look more Koreans. The attitude of the Edo Japanese to depict white people with ugly huge noses, while indeed annoying to us, was the normal attitude for all races. In a world where we all feel equal, we would have a normal tendency to like our own kind but without hatred for the other. I married a Korean race person.... it is a personal choice. Being white, I grew up 60 years ago very attracted to Western culture and race. I noticed that my own children in primary school were attracted to other 1/2 kids like them as if the knew instinctively that these kids were like them. A chimp probably thinks that humans are pretty ugly: we are ugly hairless chimps. The same is normal between human races. Would you date naturally a Neanderthal even if very smart? That said, marry whom ever you want to.

@@RealJAPANVoice Funny thing is. I never had an image of Japanese girls. I thought they were like girls in the States, but it was a huge culture shock. Wasn't expecting girls to be this kind, caring, and understanding. Come back to the states it was a wake up call like I just got taking out of a dream. Hell I had to even learn pick up game to use on my own US women, which is sad. I was only able to be myself when I was dating Japanese women.
