I love One Direction and The Beatles, but if you made me choose, I'd go with THe Beatles. I don't know why but there's something about them which appeals to me. and it's astonishing that they got autotune before autotune becuase autotune does barely anything except move vocal notes into the correct pitch. /s

Beatles later stuff is great, and shows their true talent. That being said they used poppy boyband songs to achieve their fame and status so that they could make higher quality songs. They pretty much cheated the system, so yeah early beatles songs really didn't show much talent at all. Just mainstream pop like one direction.

KamiliaMonroe93 idk, man. But I can tell you that my parents wanted me to grow up with modern music just as people living in the Beatles generation listened to their modern music. Good music still remains good music, and modern music is pretty crappy. Still, if parents raise their kids like this they aren’t necessarily monsters.
My little brother watch “the BeatBugs” is a cartoon on Netflix with songs of the Beatles, he doesn’t understand the lyrics because he is mexican but after that he really like the Beatles music:)👌

By using innovative and complex studio techniques they produced unusual sounds 30 years before autotune was invented! “that band should’ve gone on”. They did. At home and on radio stations around the world they are played thousands of times every day
