I am friends with both Judge Judy edit out the lawsuit part for attorney fees for a false charge filed against the plaintiff. And the staff of the show instructed the defendant to file the counter claim. The judge and staff are messy.

I know both families. That is not the daughter’s character. The defendant has a bad character and tries to fight everyone over the boyfriend. The oldest brother of the plaintiff wedding was shut down by the police because the defendant tried to fight the bridesmaid the boyfriend escorted down the isle. The defendant is a known troublemaker and she had just started that job. The plaintiff family grew up on that side of town. The defendant has gone to the parents house with drama and the police eventually had to get involved. The defendant approached me about her boyfriend. Played on my phone daily. I had to change my number. She does this with every man she dates.

True, especially low income areas, they tend to be food deserts. Maybe the area in which they live is a food desert

That’s why Dollar General is making a killing in rural areas. I am often driving in the middle of nowhere and see a DG pop up. It used to be you either had to travel into the city or shop at mom and pop general stores where the prices are much higher. Usually I would side with mom and pops but their prices were often ridiculously higher because they had people by the balls. Some of my family and friends regularly shop at a gas stations because the nearest supermarket is a half an hour drive. Back in the day it was okay because they produced almost all of their own food but they don’t do that anymore.

Judge Judy is from NYC…grocery stores EVERYWHERE!

Winston-Salem is a city with 250,000 people. She could've found another local store in a heartbeat.

She said that side of town. A lot of my family and friends live in rural areas and the closest supermarket is a half an hour drive. Fortunately, they produce some of their own food but they end up buying things like milk, bread from a gas station or a mom and pop where the prices are so much higher.

The east side of Winston is considered to be the lower income part of Winston and yes food lion unfortunately is the only grocery store in the area, if you don’t have transportation it is the closest store to get to by foot anything else you would need a car and the public transportation here is not that great.

This is America. These are our citizens. We are lost..... I hate drama

The story was edited a lot. I know the truth. I am friends with both parties. The lawsuit was for reimbursement of attorney fees $800. The plaintiff never sued for the amount the show aired. And the show instructed the defendant to file the counter claim against the plaintiff. The showed lied to both parties that the case was transferred to Judge Judy which was a lie. The plaintiff called the courthouse inquiring why was the case sent to the show. Turns out the show lied to booth parties to get them to appear. The Judge Judy show is not real and the case was placed back on the court calendar by the DA in small claims court in NC. The plaintiff won her case. Yes I know both parties and have heard booth sides.

You know there is not Publix, Harris Tetter or any other grocery store in East Winston. The stores will never be in that area. There is no Ingles in Winston at all. I don’t know where you live.

It's an American slang term used to describe an unmarried woman's connection to the child's father. Put simply, a woman has a kid with a man but they have no real romantic relationship after the child is born. Example, "My baby mama took me to court to get child support!" Hope that helps.😊

From my understanding the defendant put out that Judge Judy staff had her to file the counter claim against the plaintiff. Judge Judy is the drama queen and keeps mess going. The brother was the problem the defendant shouldn’t involve family or baby mothers because her man is a big cheater.
