DMAXRYNO huh. I always kinda figured diesels win off the line, but after 40-50mph gassers usually have a little more in em. Times have changed I guess.
Team Wagy I mean most of the time if you’re launching a diesel you build some boost before you start rolling... and you start building boost far before 70 some mph. With a stock VGT turbo you’re probably at at least 15lbs I’d boost by the time you’re going 20mph. It’s dependent on rpm not speed
Yup. Was thinking that was gonna happen.. from my experience owning both bulletproof and cognito 12 inch, the bulletproof sucks on turns and suspension wear. Being that my truck is long wheel base dually, I really love the cognito turning radius and all parts last twice on wear.... just my .02.
I have the same setup as the middle truck, but with wider tires (12") and I get 16-17. That's at 80mph, though. I would assume he gets better. My guess is DMAX's is 15-ish..
Meanwhile my 4x4s have all turned much sharper. From my factory 4x4 67 f250 to my 85 f250 to my 01 24 valve. Even my buddy's first gen. That straight axle swap is seeming more and more imminent. Plus I dont like being as low as most cars... I like seeing over the traffic. I'm 4" lower than a new 2wd f150.
My 86 k10 has terrible turning radius and a drinking problem but I love her these new trucks are nice and I own one but my 66 and 86 you can bond with that’s why I like classics you are able to bond with them with these new trucks they’re just trucks
Keep up the videos man I have a work for it sticker in my work trailer I bring to the jobs have alot of people ask where I got that! It's the only way to get somewhere in life work for it!!
These are long wheel base trucks, if a short bed and short cab was available, the length of the wheel base is a huge factor. Another test that would be cool to see is a slalom or how fast can you corner
The Spindle is the main issue with lifts. Get the correct lift spindle and your radius doesn't change, unless you put some stupid wheels on which hit something. Or...buy a real truck with a straight axle!
lol, Looks like you need to get a Quadrasteer setup like the old 04-06-ish GM halfton trucks had. They're pretty dang rare but it'll turn a corner like no other.
@@DMAXRYNO lol Yeah they were pretty cool. I've never been in one but I'm pretty sure I saw one driving around, you can tell because they have bigger than stock fenders. But as far as handling 40s I don't know about that. I think you need to get a sponsor for a special build on one, that'd be impressive. I just watched your how to get sponsored video so the sponsoring comment was kind of a joke lol.
I love your truck but I must say I really don't like the color of the rims. To much black and white I guess! I like the size of them though. I thought your rim color was suppose to be the copper color? What rims are you putting on next?
Love the vid brother keep up the great work ps can we get more work vids I’m a roofer and been doing it sense I was 14 now 18 and work for everything I own love your quote stands for if I worded that correctly lol
Fiannly I can watch this processing deer takes to long I'll take the mirror haha. Or put in it a case for things that happen when trying to go to sema for memories haha
They are manufactured by the same company (bds), but they are NOT the same line. BDS is a high end line of lift kits with all good performance parts. Zone is the line for cheapos or people who the lift kits match their budgets better.
97f250hd 7.5 daily, 7mpg straight piped spitting dollars out the exhaust. Solid axle swap to the d60 turning radius is shit with leaf springs. Looking to do a 05 axle swap with ryd coil conversion, money put in a half
Wish I could have joined with my truck. 01 sierra 2500 crew cab with a long bed. Lifted with the turning radius of a semi truck XD. The long wheelbase suck for making u-turns and tight parking lol.
I have an unrelated question. I have a 2016 GMC Sierra diesel (LML) and I’m going to get it tuned with PPEI by Kory. The question is what exhaust would you recommend? I have a 4.5inch lift with 35inch tires, I travel a lot for work so always on the highway, I need sometime that sounds aggressive but not to loud and without a drone. I was thinking flow pro 5inch with muffler. What would you recommend?
If you're going to be spending the big bucks on a high-end lift anyway, why not add a 4-wheel steering setup, and have a killer turning radius AND the lift?
