Do Liquid Dethatchers work? LAWN Thatch Reduction in ONE EASY STEP.

Do you have lots of thatching your lawn, sometimes you need to get a mechanical dethatcher other times, doing what I do here in this video is all you need to reduce the thatch in your lawn this summer.
30 days ago I Applied Liquid D-Thatch from Greene County Fertilizer Company. In this video I will show you the difference it made not only to the overall health of the turf but also to the reduction in the debris in the health of the root system.
When your lawn thatch is very thick, water is reduced, root systems begin to shrink, and nutrients are less accessible. Often times this can lead to disease and stress in the lawn. Regular applications of a liquid DeThatching agent will help keep many of these problems at bay.

I enjoy these little experiments and that your products do result in higher quality turf and soil. The results (and variety of ways you showed them) speak for themselves! Regarding the last question though, I think it could be answered by adding a Humic12 plot if you were to repeat the test. That could shed light on if it was the D-thatch breaking down thatch and clippings, or just the humic in it creating a better decomposition environment.

Hey John. Speaking of testimonies of proof being in the pudding, I wanted to share something. I never treated my side yard or the side area next to the cars. So last year after I ordered your biostims, I decided to just haphazardly put a little down in those areas at the same time I treated my showcase area out front. Again, I really wasn't looking for any results. And really didn't care. I just wanted to get some Into the soil for no other reason than, just because. Well little by little, those areas started improving dramatically and fast. A year later, which is this year, those areas are looking showcase now..just in one year and not even really trying to improve those areas, the liquid N-Ext bio-stims and ferts have totally turned those areas around fast. So now I treat them the exact same way I treat the front yard and I'm even watering those areas regularly too. Why, because after seeing the results of what the NExt products did to those areas, there's no way I'm gonna let them get crappy. So I just wanted to share that with you especially since this video is about testing a product. They truly work if you work them in. And they work fast. Thanks for your products and teaching videos.

I know for a fact some dethatch products work. I've used them for years to start compost. The pile can sit there a week being watered and do very little. Then I'll spray it with Thatch Buster and it comes to life within 24 hours. The N-Ext D Thatch only mentions sugar and yeast no microbes. Is it just counting on the yeast activity to heat up the thatch layer and the sugar feeding whatever microbes are there? If you're putting down some form of sugar to feed microbes and kelp containing cytokinins you going to have a healthier lawn. No doubt about that.

I used dthatch at two personal properties and there's a difference for sure in the building of material. Subjective observations, but i practice what i call summerbaggin. I mulch and discharge lush spring valuable growth, and when the heat wave hits i bag the more useless lethargic and dryer out material. I collect less than before dthatch and the periods triggering summerbag are longer save more frequent the past two years also

I’d say you’re right if you threw out color, root density, turf density and actual measurements. To be fair, this isn’t a real test, it’s purely a visual experiment. There’s isn’t a thatch problem on the turf, treated or not. If there were, we likely would have seen something greater and I would have followed the protocols for problematic thatch reduction. It’s a lawn. Not a lab

I have a few planted aquariums and beneficial bacteria plays a huge part in breaking down waste. I know that yeast is used to grow certain types on bacteria so it could be that the yeast helps to multiply the bacteria that break down dead vegetation and the waste from the bacteria is beneficial to the grass
