The only thing you’d really pay for with a PC that comes from them is Windows, and some first-party Microsoft titles, and they actually made Windows 10 free for the most part (besides personalization, and the fact that there’s a watermark in the bottom-right, but over a *hundred* dollars for that?).

Hell even Xbox itself supports more PS1 and 2 games than PS5 itself. They offer the best deals. They have a killer Gamepass offer. Yes they lack in games that are "Special" for their Xbox console, but that is the thing. I don't care about Xbox. Neither do i care about PS. But as a strict PC gamer, i love how Microsoft tries to unite gamers, getting into deals with even Nintendo while Sony tries so hard to make everything exclusive only. Everytime a game ends up as an exclusive or "too long" timed exclusive, that game is DEAD for me. Best exampe? Monster Hunter World. I yearned for that game so much. But i had to pick it up a year later while everyone else already chewed through the content and put up spoilers on everything you look at. I tried my best to avoid spoilers, but at the end already knew the ending before i finally were able to play the first mission a year later. Exclusive games are the cancer for true gamers. Only fanboys think they need them to "defend" their precious console, while ditching the possibility to play with others and enjoy it together. No one who calls himself a true gamer is happy about how he can't play a game with their friends, simply because they decided to buy an Xbox instead a PS. Or a good PC instead of a PS. Meanwhile, i can play so many games by now with my friends on their Xbox. So no. Sony is the only company i would shit on. And lately Nintendo for their predatory behavior among their costumers. From what I've seen is it's Destruction Derby with powerups but when your car smashes you run around and try to get into another car? To be fair the 3070 is comparable to the series x and the 3700x often 220 at microcenter (although this is an instore only deal) it will be a more expensive upfront but over a few years with steam sales and free online you will get your money back he just did a really poor job explaining (also sence most games dont have better load times with a pcie gen 4 compared to a sata you can save money there and then buy the gen 4 when its price drops) but yeah from the upfront cost the series is much cheaper Edit:changed 3060 ti to 3070

@Quadsword you are comparing the more expensive option to a cheaper option atleast compare it to digital ps5... + Gamepass is like 100€-120€/year it is a good deal but you still need to buy the games that wont be on gamepass its not a magic wand that gives you every game. For me I barely spend 100€ for games in a year. So financially both console will be almost as expensive for me if it WOULD be my FIRST consold EVER. But because I happen to have BIG PS4 game library it is much cheaper for me to buy a ps5 and have my own library rather than having a service that selects what I can play + building my own library for the games that isnt on that service. I do think gamepass has incredible value for many people. 45€ a year for multiplayer and 24games is enough for me. I barely have time to play half of them.
