I just want to say for the third time that I'm not using this video to make fun of this person. We all make mistakes and crafting is a very complex system in Path of Exile. I've made more mistakes than I can count in my thousands of hours. I just wanted to use this example as a way to educate players on the topic of Eldritch Crafting. Obviously there a few ways you would generally approach crafting boots that vary from this but I specifically wanted to address the crafting process used here and also provide some general tips. Anyone seeing this as making fun of the guy are just projecting. We all see that 30 annul/exalt is less then 100div+Juice. Fact is if he managed to hit he wouldnt be done anyways because of aisling rng
If suffix its already full, you can use normal exalt actually, the real problem its the supply of eldrich annu/exalt its almost nonexistent at moment, thats why the guy used suffix cannot be changed maybe.
@@SpicysushiPoE Not the reason I did it with harvest I did it with harvest because it always was the best way to go about it with more common because you where pretty much guarantied 2 def mods. I just didn't think it was this bad.. I mean used to be 14 attempts max with harvest now it is around 50 which is quite a substantial increase. Slamming with exalts not eldritch is much more expensive because you still need suffixes can not be changed for each attempt.
I’ve bought A LOT of eldritch currency recently and at several points previously this league. Claiming the supply is “almost nonexistent” is a super weird take. I’ve legit never had any problem buying singles or bulk of all the types of these currencies :shrug:
Thanks for this, there's always something to learn. I didn't know that locked mods affect the number of mods when reforging. Now I understand some of the outcomes I had with veiled chaos crafting I had last league.
That post was made by me and for ref I knew about eldritch crafting but with more common it was better to do with harvest before this league and afterward I went again and finished the item with eldritch crafting which is also in that reddit thread further down and explained how I did it.. The problem is that eldritch cant be done with influenced items. I did it with eldritch and it ended up costing 7 divines. It used to take 14 attempts with harvest on avg. now it is more like 50...
i fully crafted my omni leguestart with fractured items. yes, it's not a replacement of harvest, but there is so many possibilities, and everyone just hatin.
I do something similar except after I slam and miss, i eldricth chaos as it kinda acts like a hybrid anul/exalt as it in most cases removes the slam, but sometimes its a new slam albeit no block in place, was cheaper that way last league. Atleast its faster!
Hi, i am playing SSF and trying to learn how to craft, please make a video on non eldrich influeced items, rings, amulets, elder/shaper items, this was a helpful video.
i have the same question in mind, if you have 100 divines 1 week into the league you better know or at least attempt to find an alternative way to craft... at this point reddit is filled with hate posts that is mostly just hate fueling or conspiracy posts id say either this guy is just making it all up to make crafting sound bad or hes a dumb swiper who doesnt know the basics of crafting in the first place outside of an item generating tool called harvest...
@@azuri6842 with the setup my group is running now I'm averaging 80-100 divines a day now doing nothing but heist while the rest of our clan does the trading so all I have to do is run heist. I explained it in the reddit post he is referencing in the vid and I knew about eldritch crafting just what I did there worked fine last league ~14 attempts and you had what you wanted max which comes out to 28 divines twice that if you get unlucky with Asling.
This is unrelated to the video however I do have a crafting question . I'm currently an int stacking wander and I mid way through crafting my second chest currently im wearing a 500 es one with flat int(t4) , t1 %int and crafted % attribute . I have got to the point of crafting to where I have a vaal regalia with essence int , t1 % int and an open suffix . For the second item I want as much energy shield as possible (at least 500) so is the only way I can go about it is multimod , suffixes cannot be changed and then use reforge harvest defence . Im asking this mainly because ive tried emulator with this method with limited success and there also times when the item bricks and even when i get 1 good es mod I cant craft es as I need the crafted slot for % attribute . Thanks for any replies .
I really wish there was more supply for eldritch crafting currency. Crafting like this isn't horrible but it would be a lot more reasonable if eldritch chaos/annul were 5c
So basically with reforge keeping prefix/suffix being gone if my item doesn't have a good fracture it's really hard to craft good boots. God forbid I have to craft dual elevated suffix boots.
good dual elevated items should always be hard to make, as nothing can beat it theres no reason to make it not worth mirrors upon making in the first place. not to mention fracture doesnt work with influence item in the first place so you are basically asking why you cant have a good steak without soy milk as ingredient. good fracture items are dirt cheap this league as AN poops out a morbilion of those everytime you go mapping, i dont see any reason why you cant have good boots when good fracture bases are insanely easy to obtain, like if we look past all the hate this league is miles easier to get low-mid item as they practically cost nothing to make and doesnt require you to look up tft discord all day.
well, all what I think about from start to finish of that video is, how can someone make 100 divines but somehow does not get the idea of improving the crafting process in any way during a massive loss.
ppl just dont realize that for new players to even get into PoE the grind is unreal. will see how long fanbois gunn carry this before it eventually morphs into no-lifer only game
It’s already a no-lifer only game if you want to make it to end game in the first few days/weeks…I love the game but damn, the time needed to farm items/currency for a build is ridiculous
its like GGG always looks at the top 5% and see how fast they are doing everything and then they are like NERF NERF NERF NERF NERF NERF. But they forget that at least 80% of the players are pure casuals and every nerf increases the chance that they never even see these lategame mechanics because the grind to get there is getting unreal.
Just do it, that's the only way to really learn. Doesn't have to be a super expensive craft, just craft some mid-tier stuff, not too hard to figure out with craftofexile and even if you don't do it the most optimal way you'll probably still get a profit out of it at least.
Use the craft of exile emulator, like sushi is in this video. It'll raise your confidence when it comes to crafting. Find some tutorials and go along with them (in the emulator) until you are comfortable doing it in game
I doubt it, because eldritch crafting works for gloves, helmets, body armors and boots. Everything else you have to gamble pretty much now. On top of that we still have influence from Sirus guardians, and you cant really do anything good with those relatively cheap nowadays.
@@MrRipper55 its mostly because meta crafting is still a thing, and the fact that they removed those harvest crafts only to make it so that mirror tier items will cost mirrors to make now instead of couple dozen exalts and half a day lurking on tft discord, overall i think its a fair change, people just crying as their item editing tool is gone now.
