I agree with you about fashion rules. Leggings are my most coveted items in my wardrobe! I, too, have various styles which allow me to dress super casual to very chic and stylish, and the bonus…they are sooo comfortable!!! I am 69 years old and 4’10” with a 😏 mature body type. Fashion has become a passion for me and I love playing and experimenting with different styles and looks to take things to a new level at times. I love wide belts, various shoes (including my Doc Marten combat boots) and accessories that give an outfit personality and interest. I love maxi, midi, and mini dressed and shirts and not afraid to wear them! Dressing daily is always done with intent and awareness. Intent of what mood do I want to project and awareness of how my outfit is affected by things such as weather, activities, food choices, and potential issues that I may be confronted with. This is all prevalent whether I am going out or remaining in my house. Today is a mild 80 degree day, so my outfit is black leggings, black wide belt w/gold buckle, a black off shoulder top, and an oversized white shirt. I have been home all day, but am considering possibly going out this evening for a bite and listening to some music. Should I do so, I will throw on a pair of pumps, large gold hoop earrings, and grab a fun clutch. I have been quarantined at home for recovering from COVID and now can venture out into society again…yippee!!!! I say, wear whatever makes you feel joyful, confident, and amazing no matter your age, body type, or size! And for heaven’s sake…who cares if it is out of style!!! If YOU love it….go rock it!!!
Hi Thessely, I never follow fashion rules or trends. I wear what makes me feel comfortable and that works in my hot country. Rules only keep you stuck in a box and like you said fashion is suppose to be fun and a way to express your personality. Great video my friend ❤️, appreciate you always for sharing. This video was interesting because today I wore a short sleeve white button-up with my Adidas print leggings and my white Adidas sneakers with the lemon color on the heel then I wore my caramel colored leather tote by Marc Jacobs and I was wondering if the dress shirt was too dressy but it was really good I felt comfortable
