I think people saying she can't sing is hilarious because she actually sings markedly BETTER now than she did when she was younger. Part of that's growing into her voice (she started when her vocal cords were still developing, technically) and part of that is clearly getting some training for her technique. She's got a lovely voice and a lot of earned skill behind it. I think there are people out there with more beautiful~ voices or w/e, but that's only one part of what makes her an amazing singer and songwriter? It's also about how you USE your voice, and the songs you're singing, and she uses it well and writes amazing songs to sing.

Yeah, I'm a very new swiftie (Have just got into her after the release of ttpd as I'm primerily a hip-hop and electronic listener but I checked it out, loved it and now am working my way through her catalogue). But I'd heard lots of people saying that she couldn't sing and also didn't have stage presence and after checking out footage from tours and delving into her catalogue I can safely say both those things are not true whatsoever.

This is Jake Gyllenhall. We’ve seen him wearing her scarf around the world many times. He wanted to keep their relationship a secret but she didn’t. He was ashamed of her but she loved him with her whole heart. Please watch the the short film that Taylor directed and wrote that goes with this. It really shows the true emotions of this sad story. It’s so real and soul-crushingly sad. The actors are top notch!!

This was about her romance with Jake Gyllenhaal. He was older than her. The video for this shows their relationship better, with actors in their roles, until the very end, when all of sudden it's Taylor's face. She showed 'them' at a dinner with his friends where she was ignored & when she reached for his hand, he pulled away. Her later comment about age is because Jake continues to date young gals, even as he ages. Like Leonardo DiCaprio. LOL I like her song 'Dear John' about John Mayer too. You screw her, the world is gonna know about it. LOL

I always loved that lyric where after 3 months "in the grave" she only felt shame and he "held her lifeless frame". It's such a poetic way of referencing how we all (men and women) feel being sucked back into a dead relationship, in the interest of closure or being fair, but when the person who no longer holds your heart embraces you and you just can't reciprocate. Like you're just stiff, empty, a bag of bones, it doesn't feel the same and you just want them to stop touching you, but she put it so much more nicely than I ever could.

Another incredible “diss track” is Dear John. Also Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve. Both are about John Mayer. One written when she was 19 the other at 32 ( which is how old John was when they dated.) I am loving your Taylor reactions. Thank you so much.

You gotta watch the short film version of this one. it adds a lot. And this song is definitely not about Travis. It was written when she was about 21/22 years old, but the 10min version only just recently came out. She was dating Jake Gyllanhal, who was WAY older than her and basically used her and then told her she was too young for him... before going on to continue to date girls as young as she had been ("all your lovers stay my age"). She got really badly treated by a couple men that were older than her back then.

What Taylor's Version means is that it is a re-record of one of her 1st 6 albums. Her old label wouldn't let her buy the the masters so she is recording them again. From the vault means it was a song written at the time the original album dropped (in this case the album Red) but not released at the time. For All Too Well, there was a 5 minute version released on the original with her old label and this is from the vault because it includes 5 extra minutes of lyrics. Hope that helps! Please consider changing the title of this to 'Do not hurt her!'. The optics of 'make her mad' is... that's a tough one. Her song 'Blank Space' was poking fun at the notion of heartless, angry women, toying with men for fun and being 'crazy'. But what's real is she was a young girl in a relationship with older man (granted, not as inappropriate as the JM relationship) and got hurt.

She let it slip to fans durring one of her "secret sessions" that it was originally 10 minutes and fans have been asking for it ever since so she finally delivered.

This song is about Jake Gyllenhaal. Also the song we are never ever getting back together is about Jake Gyllenhaal, the scarp is a metaphor. If you notice how many times she says the innocence in this song you’ll understand that she was 20 years old and he took her innocence. Do you understand what her innocence is? It’s her virginity. This is the only song she ever sings about her innocence being gone and the scarf is just a metaphor for it if you listen to the words when she talks about her scarf, this is the closest song that she has to her heart because come on which one of us girls has forgotten our first time

#ABtheKreator!! I’m an OG Swifty from when she started until now. Love your reactions so going to hopefully jump the line March 20 because it will be my 50th birthday and the first one without my mother. She passed away unexpectedly due to confusion on medications between two doctors and it caused too much calcium to build up and her parathyroid got out of whack but it was the strain on her heart that did it even though they had flushed her system. You gotta always make sure you doctors know everything you take and what your other doctors tell you. I still got my dad. I know she had jokes ready and now I need something to cheer me up on my b’day. I’m kind of dreading it! She always made every birthday and holiday fun and special no matter how old we got. The only hard part is deciding which one!😂😂 Thanks!!!

You should watch her talk about what finally made her release this ten min. version. If you can't, she said that in some interview she let it slip that the og cut of the song was ten min, but she felt like that was too long for the album because stations don't generally play such long tracks. She never planned on releasing the full version but swifties begged her to, for a while, so she did it. And Jake did confirm that it's about him

I read she runs on her treadmill singing and this training has helped her a lot in the ERA's tour. You should watch her Ellen videos, they crack you up.
