I pre-ordered the moment it was available because I know I will play this game until the servers shut down. Also who dafuq listens to content creators to determine if a game is good or not?
I wouldn’t have preordered this DLC for anything, but when Bungie dropped that prismatic super and the ability to use blink with other subclasses, instant sell for me. I’m a blink main, have always been since vanilla D1 (wanted to use it in the beta, but my dumbass thought you level up Jump by just jumping a lot). I have been waiting for something like this for years, and now that it’s happening, I’m definitely going all in
I think more so the longevity of the game. If the story is a knock out of the park because Bungie is backed in a corner, the Acts might be bad once they get in their comfort zone
They canceled the preorder once already but I think the purchase was reimbursed, arguably safer to buy now. The release date is set in stone I’m pretty sure of this time, but prismatic looks too fun to watch content creators play around with before trying it out myself imo. Either way my wallets taking a beating

I already bought it. Because I love the game. Also. There is more to the game then just the story. Just because lightfall’s story was mid as fuck. But I still had a lot of fun playing it.
Think I’d rather see and hear the story myself first before I watch anyone or anything. I don’t understand why I’d listen to anyone before I make my own opinion.
Everyone pre-ordered light fall...look how that turned out we thought light fall was going to be the best expansion ever. Strand was great but besides that it was crap. The reason I'm pre-ordering is because im gonna be playing this regardless.
@@ImNotMatthew0 ya unfortunate, I do hope the expansion is good and prismatic is good....however I still want that 3rd darkness subclass, darkness feels incomplete, hopefully they are still working on it.

But I do think Bungie has learned their lesson from the abysmal reception of Lightfall. Truth be told, I fully believe they knew it would bomb. It wasn't a planned expansion from the start. It was just a cushion to give them more time between WQ & TFS. Destiny goes through highs & lows. Now Bungie has the opportunity to deliver the highest high ever. Whether they orchestrated it that way... maybe that's treading into spinfoil hat territory. But historically, when their backs are against the wall, they deliver

I still have the preorder bonuses from the _old_ preorder. I got it refunded when Bungie originally delayed Final Shape and the stuff is still tied to my account. I ain't preordering again though, I'll wait for the reviews. As good as the game has been right now, we know it's only because Bungie's in full-blown panic mode. The minute they get comfortable they'll go back to spitting in our faces. I'm not sold on Prismatic either and after Lightfall, I'm extremely skeptical that anyone there is capable of making a good campaign.
It’s a double-edged sword because I have high hopes for the story being great and the initial launch will be awesome, but as soon as Bungie gets in their comfort zone like you said, the Acts might be really bad
@@ImNotMatthew0 I have zero faith in their writing department. The people who write the lore books make some great stuff, but they're clearly not the ones in charge of writing the in-game story. I mean, just look at The Witness. Dude starts out all mysterious and then it turns out he's just throwing a temper tantrum because the Traveler wouldn't merge with the Veil. The Witness isn't a compelling villain, he's just a toddler with godlike powers.

Never preorder any video game ever That said get the final shape after it launches, dodge the day 1 login line. There is far more reason already to get this than the lightfall had. Also your going to likely get slapped with a cease and desist because you copied that thumbnail from Before you Buy
You can just find the guy doing the same pose in front of a ps5 and Xbox series x. You take the background and make it white and then slap on a face of your choosing. I also made sure to make the words red and not say “Before You Buy”

Final Shape's gonna be good. Bungie can't risk it this time, it has to be good if they don't want Sony to take over. Content Creators aren't the most reliable source for info, one's opinions can easily sway the tide. Best to try it yourself, ask yourself was it good, or bad.

I'm sorry to all the Destiny gamers out there. I know it's bad, I know I shouldn't, I know I might potentially be setting myself up for disappointment if I pre-order. But this is the end of a story that has been told for 9 years,. A story that I've been apart of since 2014. I'm not going to pre-order for the fancy rewards, I'm doing it because this is the end of our journey, the culmination of everything we've done. It's all or nothing and I'll be damned if you expect me to let The Witness get the last laugh.
