I will always remember travelling with my wife in Washington state and since we were new to the area I looked at what Google Earth had to show. I noticed from the satellite view an interesting regularly-spaced arrangement of structures in a forested area nearby so I zoomed in to see what the street view showed. The street view ended abruptly at the gate to the area and the sign on the gate had been blurred out so it appeared that I had found an area with a dozen missile silos about a mile from our hotel.

I believe the missile silo book was more of a protest than a travel book - especially when you notice that the forward was written by Daniel Berrigan, the anti-war and anti-nuke activist who was so outspoken that he was actually on the FBI's "Most Wanted" list, the first priest to do so. And it you look at more of that "family outing" section that WASN'T highlighted, you can see that it's quite an angry and scary piece, and the title was meant to be ironic.

Actually, Mexican Coke is a great marinade for fish, (fatty, skin on, fresh as you can get) mixed with brown sugar and apple cider vinegar. Then smoke for 6 hours and enjoy!

A cookbook with Coke recipes may not be that bad. I once tried a chicken recipe that required a whole can of Coke, half a bottle of ketchup, and a bunch of spices. You need to put it in the oven for about an hour. As I remember, it tasted kind of sweet.

A good friend of mine and myself were helping our highschool librarian clean out and sort books on the last day of school (years ago) We found a paperback book written by a priest titled "God Knows I'm Gay and that's Okay". Our librarian told us to chuck it. 🤷

Actually, I have a a recipe for roast baked in Coke. It is pretty good, tastes like barbecued beef. I used it a many years ago when my husband shot that moose. Barbecued Coke moose roast anyone? Pro tip - if your husband shoots a moose, DON'T LET HIM BRING IT HOME!!!
