Jedi,,,,, u have a very gd question n i hope ua sister gets help although i will tell you,,,,, of all the skin conditions we get,,,,,,, melasma is the most stubborn one. Pretty much it is caused by hormonal imbalance. Hormones on overdrive. Ua sister might get a break from that after menopause. Very stubborn skin issue unfortunately. There is truly nothing u can take or use externally to eliminate melasma........ AT ALL!!!. please tell ua sister to NEVER use bleaching cream. MELASMA n bleaching creams dont mix. Make sure she uses sunscreen all the time n keep re-applying coz melasma hates sun rays. I dont even know why carol is not talking about the importance of sunscreen on our skin esp. for someone who is struggling with melasma. There r some dermatologist who might try laser treatments but they pop right back n ua money gone😳. Melasma is truly that demon that torments 100%.
Once in a while ukioga paka ka towel ka kuoga sabuni na maji na umwagilie peroxide kidogo osha makwapa it will lighten up with time. Uoshe makwapa last usioge na peroxide any other part just underarms twice in a week.
