(September 2024) The latest firmware version is 1.84 AND you need to upgrade twice to get it to 1.84. First run it goes to 1.82 and second run to 1.84. As of 28 Sept, it feels like it didn't introduce any new bugs and app response is better
@@varolucho do you have the latest app version on your phone from the Play Store? If so, just try to add new device again and it should find it. If it doesn't, try power off and on the X100. And finally, if you really can't get it to work, I think I remember there is a way to reset the Bluetooth on the device. Try doing that and do Add New Device again.
@@quagmire321able i tried to reset the bluetooh but i dont know if im doing well, cause its 3 seconds but it turn it off so.. i dont know how many seconds y have to press the power bottom to be sure i am reseting the bluetooh
Did the latest update over the air, because the light wouldn't work without it. Bricked it (temporarily). Following these very clear instructions got me back to working perfectly again. Thank you so much!!
¡Hola! Muchísimas gracias, me funcionó. Mi Molus x100 había perdido conexión Bluetooth después de una actualización de Firmware y este vídeo fue mi salvación. Saludos desde Colombia.
Hello, how are you? Thank you for your videos. I wanted to ask you something, they sent me some demos to test them and first the x100 only charged the battery once and then no more. but the most important thing is that, I wanted to update them since it didn't allow me to use the app, when doing so it died, it doesn't turn on, that is; connected to the computer it turns on but does not turn on the lights but when using the current it turns on it flashes and turns off. Suddenly you know how I could rescue it since it has become unusable and there isn't much info on the zhiyun page. Thanks in advance, a hug
Check my reply on your other comment but I would like to add, I had recently discovered or kinda ran into another issue with the x100. My x100 battery just refused to recharge after it was completely drained after using it for less than 3mths. Not sure if this is related to your issue. As per my other reply, I really do suggest you get Zhiyun to look at your x100 or send it back for warranty/repair.
I have not been able to find a way to get any of the four of my batteries to charge. A couple of them charged two or three times and then the other two I could only charge once each each and then they would not respond to any charger that I plugged into them. They are all paperweights and no one is addressing this issue
Sorry to hear that. Have you tried power-cycling the lamp? Maybe try triple-pressing the power button while it is blinking? I hope you didn't update the firmware using the grip battery from v1.8.1 to v1.8.2; there was a bug introduced in 1.8.1 that can create problems if you update using the grip battery. I have included a warning for that on this video's description. If you really can't get it to work after firmware update, I can only think of one way to solve it that is to send it back to Zhiyun Tech and get them to fix it. Do let me know how you get on with your x100.
@@quagmire321able I just upgraded to the newest firmware with the grip and has really messed up the batteries ability to charge. I think it's still a problem.
Most of the time, either adding a new device works. Failing that, triple press the power button will reset the Bluetooth and adding a new device after that should work.
