I don't know if you know this, but you don't have to look very far to see people complaining about the differences between grandson and star rail. Many people who play Genshin want changes in the game.

Genshin feels horrible to play with if you compare both games. Mainly because of the dev team working on Genshin that refuses to listen to the community, which kuro does the opposite. This isn't just kuro, other Gacha games are generous and constantly show love to their players. So when you're being rewarded just for playing, which is the norm for Gacha games, you'll feel like crap when genshin does the bare minimum and makes you feel like that's the norm and players who never played other Gacha games are actually surprised when they are treated right. Wuthering waves are doing things correctly for a game that has barely 2 months compared to a 4 year old game.

I am so fed up with their BS to be honest. I played Wuwa and realized it is a Genshin reskin. I mean it just is way too similar to Genshin if you catch the details minus the combat system that got copied from DMC and MH which were both developed by Capcom. I am not saying no one should play Wuwa but it does give strong Genshin vibes. That is what people should know. Yet these laughable content clowns fail to realize that their game is not the holy grail and in fact is a Genshin clone with different combat which at the end of the day achieves the same.

Try the exploration then try to go back to genshin, give it 4 days, you'll find the uninstall button on Genshin appealing, it's not the combat that's compelling, it's what genshin never became

The issue with Genshin is not the amount of content the game has. It's the quality of the content. In PGR, 90% of the story is of either high to great quality writing. In Genshin it's the opposite, 90% of it is just awful with some stuff like Aranara WQ or the red fairy shit in the desert being infuriatingly awful in the writing apartment. And it's not like their improving either, Fontaine prison part of the MSQ was so god-damned awful. It's difficult to go back to Genshin combat too after playing WuWa... Stuff like character swapping having to be pinged to server makes combat often feel less then fluid even though I enjoy the Genshin Animations, they are constantly reusing the same models with hardly any changes whatsoever while in WuWa when you use Taoqi vs Danjin, their body figure differences is glaring even though they share the same model. Not to say Genshin doesn't have some stuff it does better, it's been out for four years, there's just an insane amount of content, hundreds of hours of exploration and stories to do and a ton of characters. While WuWa is so new, it's lacking in content. People saying Genshin is better is not wrong I think, the game ultimately has so much more content then WuWa currently that it's perfectly acceptable to say that. It has far better music, and better events so far too. WuWa's events, the few it has had so far has been very simplistic in design.

Genshin lacks severely in its gameplay after 4 yrs Tons of players are sick of the stagnation. I'm a 1.0 player, I've been playing and stopping since 2020. Every time i come back it's always the same problem. A simple thing like a skip button still doesnt exist after 4yrs. Dont dare claim I'm a tourist, the game has problems and you're too blind.

What hoyoverse failed to realise is even casual player will eventualy become veteran player with max level chara,etc they need challenge as well. Even if you burn out and stop play lets say 2 or 3 months by the time they return the only thing that different is there is more of story. Gameplay absolutely nothing change. They will only log in see nothing change then log out again. "No endgame" is the stupidest statement that dev could said lol. Because endgame challenge or content Basicly didnt harm anyone except make endgame player have something to do with their chara.

It is also funny how you Wuwa koolaid drinkers are turning yourselves into clowns without even realizing it. Let me tell you why: Wuwa copied many things from Genshin which also copied from other games and added some own flavour but somehow GI is so bad that Kurogames decided to clone Genshin then slap a different combat system which is a mix of DMC and MH. And when the narrator started talking about Jue and the history of that place, I realized that they are trying to imitate Genshin's storytelling. Wuwa is nothing original, sure it is more flashy and fastpaced but that does not make it superior to Genshin. I am playing both games and I don't get the hype which Wuwa was flooded with. Strong GI vibes with Wuwa. GI still living rent-free in your heads to the point you clowns feel like you need to assert your puny superiority. But you cannot gaslight someone with 3000 hours in MH or any other souls player. Try harder.

There is no denying that Kurogames copied from Hoyo because they know it works, right?
