Loved the episode. I am a from(raised in and member of) the more conservative sect of our fellowship. There is so much here that I have been trying to articulate but struggle because of what we call "reality". The reality is what cannot be shaken. Part of that reality is that King Jesus has breached the walls of the kingdoms of men with his Kingdom and we should be on the offensive. Every single action we take to bring God's order to the chaos of Satan is ground gained in this war. To Kerry's point about understanding how we talk frames perception, I have wanted people to understand that it is the nature of darkness to be swallowed up by light. There is not a darkness that has mass to swallow up the light. Evil is not stronger than the good. It is the nature of evil to always be defeated by good.
I love this! I think we get the permission from Job 1 where God offers Job to the temptation of Satan. I always viewed that as God's confidence in the faith of Job.❤🙏🏽

2 Chronicles 15 reminds us that God does trouble His people because He wants us to call out to Him. The Spirit of God brings that message to the kings through His prophets many times. The enemy rejoices when you proclaim the very words in scripture aren’t accurate. God said Job was right in everything he said and Job proclaimed he would not be suffering if it weren’t for God.
