My name is Wes McAdams. I started RadicallyChristian.com in November of 2010. In the beginning, I focused on teaching people how to “do church,” but now I’m more interested in learning how to “be the church.” I’m slowly learning how to love God, my neighbors, and my enemies with the radically self-giving love of Jesus. I would be honored for you to join me on that learning journey!

There’s many many scriptures that says 45:59 you can eat their food offered to idols if it doesn’t cause a baby Christian to sin, we are not under those laws that tell us what we should or shouldn’t eat or drink…ones who follow these laws are weak in their faith… please look that up You separate by not learning their doctrine and forming an allegiance. God is jealous he doesn’t want us touching their doctrines and beliefs. All we need to know is that Christians are the only religion that believes in the trinity. Many of the others don’t believe in God but their own gods Allah, Buddha, Jehovah but don’t believe Jesus is his son at all. God has already done the work, he doesn’t need our help as marketing strategies, he’s already chosen his ppl before time, theirs nothing we can do to “save” anyone else. That’s what Jesus is doing for the chosen. I felt like I had to serve these ppl that’s aren’t believers by showing my spiritual fruit but no… We can love them but no we don’t go to anyone and suffer with them when God set us apart… No, we are not baby saviors. You remain neutral and stay away, you can invite them to church but NO WE DONT TURN GODS LIGHTS ON FOR PEOPLE. If there were ever chosen by God, Jesus is the Lord of the earth… we are not baby Jesus when the word say be set apart, come from among them, be separate… to go suffer with them is disobedience and a slap in the face of God for us to suffer in “darkness” when he gave us light and grace and freedom not to. John 18, John 6, Jer 31:33, isa 11, 2 cor 4:7, 1 John 2, James, 1 cor 7:13-14, John 17, Heb 3, Deut 22:10, Jer 2:4-12, Exo 23:31-32, Ezk 36, Act 3, mat 19, Deut 7, isa 30:31, 1 John 3:4, Jer 24:6-7 2 cor 7:17 don’t touch their filthy things AND I WILL WELCOME YOU. Clearly don’t go suffer and think you can roll up your sleeve and save anyone. My Bible is NLT. Not sure why it’s not clear to you 😢

Faith in God and Stoicism are completely different when you try to compare the two (I might compare Christianity and Islam for example... Or Stoicism and Cynicism) and do not need to compete with one another. Like Science and religion... if you try to justify the one with the other you are missing the purpose of them. Stoicism ideals are similar to Christianity and adopting practices such as letting go of anxiety, focusing on what you can control, keeping or mortality in mind at all times and so on are ideals that can positively influence ones faith in God. As a Christian my source and strength comes through a personal relationship with the Creator (inasmuch as I can comprehend) but as a stoic it is taking certain wisdom(s) with putting into practice. They can add to each other. I do not have to reject one because I find value in the other... They can be married, quite easily...

I have had Logos 10/Gold for a few weeks and I have been a little frustrated with it over-feeding me and being so busy it is hard to concentrate. Thanks to your guide on creating simple, text compare, etc layouts I can control how much is on the screen and only see more when I am ready. I either missed that tutorial or it wasn't covered. Also, and I know it is nitpicky but after years of using BibleGateway it annoyed me to search and it default to All, so I created one that starts on the Bible tab. Thanks, I know it is too early to worry about something new but I was getting slightly concerned that my new "timesaver" was going to annoy me too much to use it. I found myself in BG more the last few days than Logos.

The host is wrong on most points. The old and new testements are full of military analogy specifically designed to appeal to men using language most men understand. Its also full of advice directly aimed at young men (proverbs). Also wisdom aimed at young men (Samson). The fact that church leaders dont 'specifically' want to teach men is the problem.

This is how the church is failing, the west is failing. You are allowing culture to be embraced in your church, you are enabling Evil. You created equality to the point boys compete against girls in sports. The church is dying because they have femininized masculinity. Masculinity has compassion, that is different than feminine compassion. "The church is the Bride"; Femininized in definition. So we need a separate church for Men? (By the way i would agree!) You cant define the difference between masculine and feminine. So in conclusion the Church is the reason and fault for the fall of the west. 44:00 the resistance of self evil intuitions is predominantly Good? That is the definition of man? 52:25 Feminization's of male

I feel like this conversation comes short of taking into consideration the connection of Esau who did seek repentance even with tears but was unable to attain it. Did he not desire to repent? Yes, it says he sought it with tears, so it cannot just be that a person “desires” the ability to repent. Because Esau did but was not granted

Im not sure, there's so many different interpretationz of this. On that I agree with is that whatever we allow is allowed in heaven and whatever we forbid it's forbidden in heaven. Like works of the flesh if we agree with it God is going to honor that and let you go there of course he'll try to get you off that path but if you still go your handed over. And if you don't allow it God will honor that and give you revelation you'll grow closer to him and he'll get closer to you tell me what you think about this❤❤❤🎉

The CENI hermeneutic (Command, Example, Necessary Inference) fails in that it puts example and inference as equal in importance to direct command. Growing up in the CoC, I would constantly hear Acts 20:7 applied as a proof text that Christians are required to meet on the first day of the week. This example is applied as if it were a command, and yet the latter half of the verse, "and Paul preached unto midnight," is not applied as a "blueprint example" of how we are to structure our corporate worship. It's strange to me to try to apply a verse as prescriptive that is clearly descriptive and yet ignore words within the very same verse. In the video they discuss "guardrails"-- direct command is and always had been the explicit guardrail. Uzzah didn't die because he had good intentions but didn't necessarily infer the Will of God, he was struck dead because God directly said that was what was going to happen (Numbers 4:15). God is not a God of confusion. Example and inference are great for informing one's own choices when we are faced with situations of a moral nature that we don't have a book, chapter, and verse for, but to apply them as hard fast rules for all people at all times is by definition adding to and taking away from the Word of God. Adding a "Thou shalt" where there is none-- whether it be making Sunday morning some kind of "new Sabbath" that must be strictly observed, or using the silence of scripture as restrictive-- we are speaking where God has not spoken.

"delivering such a one unto Satan" can sound like the Church have authority to hand him over to Satan but maybe it only means in their hearts. By kicking him out of the Church because he hasn't repented "may" make him repent but it is also good for them as "a little leaven leaves the whole lump". They can judge whether he is welcome in their Church but it is not for them to judge his salvation, God will decide that.

These arent the reasons the bible gives against sexual licentiousness, you guys need to stop lying. The bible says it is because of spiritual purity, that's it. These other excuses are rationalizations that you intend to be effective to a modern audience, but they are worthless. You would say the same thing even if none of these cultural criticisms were possible, and you know it. This is cult thinking.

Great conversation but you are adding to God's word. Because this is all speculative. Like Bible believers you would conclude Satan had sexual immoral relationship with Eve. But even in keeping with Dr Jackson faulty conclusion based on his drawing from Leviticus then a healthy alternative would be that Canaan was sleeping with any of his Aunts since time isn't a factor. All this the conversation is guilty of glossing over the Shem and Japheth actions. Problems arise when you trust me academic authority vs a plain this says the Lord.

Christians will still have freedom of choice in the next life. God will not tamper with our freedom of choice in this life or the next for two extremely important reasons. First, if there was no free will we would be robots and, therefore, not responsible for our actions. That is because robots are not responsible for their actions-the one who programmed them is responsible. In other words, if there is no freedom of choice, then you cannot hold a person responsible for their actions. It would not be right for God to judge the world if humans did not have free will. If there was no free will in humans, then God would be responsible for the evil in the world. This is why we don’t see God intervening every time man does a horrible act because that would be manipulating free will. Now the world does not like that. They want immediate justice from God against evil. But if God rendered immediate justice for every evil act, then all of humanity would be dead and on their way to hell. Not only that, but God gave man dominion over the earth. And since our progenitor Adam sinned, all humanity is suffering because we are all separated from God from birth. Second, and more importantly, if we did not have free will, we could not genuinely love anyone. This is because love is a choice and choices can only be made by beings of free will. Yes, you can make a robot and program it to love, but the love of a robot is forced and not voluntary. Would you really want to be loved by a robot who was made to love you without a choice for eternity? Neither does God. If He wanted beings without free will, then why would He make us with free will go through the pain and suffering of this life only to take it away in the next life? Truly genuine and satisfying love is given to another as a voluntary gift from the heart between beings of free will. It is putting another’s interests above one’s self. To trick, manipulate, scare, or force someone into love is a selfish act that ends up destroying the love that is being sought. God wants people to love Him because they want to, not because they have to. Isn’t that what we want too? When both parties want to love each other, the relationship will last. However, when one party is forced to love by fear or manipulation, there may be outward actions of love, but their inward heart is not in the relationship and will eventually want to rebel and leave. So, free will is required to have the capacity to love (which is unselfishness), but with it comes the capacity to choose selfishness. And once it is chosen, selfishness grows irreversibly, relentlessly, progressively to higher and higher levels. Then, the being justifies their selfish behavior with self-justifying reasons that allow them to override the God-given morality system that is trying to tell them they are doing wrong. As the progression of sin goes to higher levels of selfishness, the being becomes so fixated on pursuing what they want that they can no longer see the damage they are doing to themselves, the ones they love, and others. And that is moral evil.

It's quite difficult to emphasize Men to be Masculine as Christians, because it doesn't go in line with scripture. Let's be honest and admit the doctrine of Christ is inherently feminine, from turning the other cheek, loving your enemies, patience, love, forgiveness, all the way to Jesus( God himself in flesh) allowing men to crucify him without self defence or retaliation. The whole concept of masculinity is to be powerful, a leader, integrity, strong, virtuous, fearless, self controlled, disciplined, and to protect and honour. Christianity is more inclined towards femininity for both men and female, which consequently due to the western world of feminism, men are mostly subservient, weak, dependant, uneducated, unskilled, unvirtuous and not independent and prosperous as much as women are now days. Women would rather be single mother's to have full control over their children or own a pet than submit to a Husband. There was a study that 40% of Women are the breadwinners of the household and are responsible for the household bills. The Bible ordains women to be keepers at home, and Men to be the providers, and Men that think that's okay, have conformed to this world - traditions of men - like female equality, social justice and left wing politics, which is also antichrist. Including the Marxist agendas, fascist socialism, BLM, LGBTQ, Veganism, Animal Activism, Abortion rights etc.. The same effeminate men would advocate women can preach and be pastor's. I'm a Christian, fully, but to be honest, there is no such thing as biblical masculinity in correlation to the western standard. Masculine Men shun away from Christianity because it's deemed too weak. Its most Non-Christian Men, even some Islamic men, that actually uphold the model of a Real Man. It's more than biology, "Women are born - Men are Made". And also biologically some issues are subject to levels of testosterone in a Males genetics (ie: soft thin hands, high pitched voice, low muscle, no facial hair, no visible adams apple etc) Obviously there's a scale of extremity, but i even think homosexuals and tomboys (including lesbian's) are rooted by genetics. Just sharing my thoughts.

Marcus Aurelius would believe that rationality and wisdom come from God, and that it is our purpose to use this God given ability to live in accordance with God's will - which the stoics call the Logos... He also tells us to love all people as all people have the Logos inside of them and that we are all in a sense sons and daughters of the Logos or God. The ultimate stoic prayer: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference."

2 Chronicles 15 reminds us that God does trouble His people because He wants us to call out to Him. The Spirit of God brings that message to the kings through His prophets many times. The enemy rejoices when you proclaim the very words in scripture aren’t accurate. God said Job was right in everything he said and Job proclaimed he would not be suffering if it weren’t for God.

You are Catholics if baptized in titles, she recognizes you are baptized as Catholics. Maybe you guys should read the Bible and see what the Bible says about baptism in the name of Jesus. The apostles didn't merely repeat Jesus's words, they understood his words to be baptism in a name, his name The Only Name under heaven whereby we must be saved. The Catholics admit to changing water baptism from the name of Jesus to the titles. Kulwant Singh Boora has a book baptism in Jesus name 625 quotes references historian Scholars showing baptism in the early centuries were done in the name of Jesus also you guys might take the time and study Matthew 28:19 and see what the objections are to the passage. Apostolic Oneness Pentecostals don't rip it out, but if it was a spurious text then we would be taking one of the three legs of a three-legged stool out of your Trinity support. The Trinity is a false teaching and comes from Ancient Paganism, not the Bible. The Greeks would be happy, are happy that you accepted the Platonic thought. Trinitarians argue over the name, as a abortionist argues over aborting babies. As a Evolutionist argues for their science, Trinitarians argue for the theory of Trinitarianism.

This is a little hypocritical. If God is the source of wisdom and He tells us to discipline our thoughts/ heart / tongue/ actions etc….if Solomon and Sirach were given wisdom, then the stoics thoughts are nothing more than the understanding God allowed them to have. Wisdom herself was created before the foundations of the world and His people die for the lack of knowledge/ wisdom….then it makes sense to take the meat and leave the bones. To the extent that the thoughts and explanations align or illuminate the Word of God, keep it. Toss out everything else. The funny thing is that you claim that we don’t need to add anything else to the Word or wisdom of God, but yet, you write and sell books that do exactly that. You espouse your beliefs and thoughts as the way while displacing value on the stoics who have simply done exactly what you are doing.

Sure when we believe in Jesus all our sins are forgiven completely. So we should not be sin conscious. Hebrews 10:2 is under the old covenant so now that we are in the new covenant and Jesus died once for sins we don't have to be sin conscious as believers. This is the truth that sets believers free. We are saints who sin at times but all our sins where payed for by Jesus on the cross 1st 1:1-9 is John addressing Gnostics and verse 9 is addressed to them as unbelievers... Watch Andrew Farley the Grace Message on RU-vid his video on 1st John 1:9.Be blessed 🙏
