Absolutely, the scientific and medical institutions should pay more attention to the community that is asking to change the ADHD name and definition

Yes! This is so important. We can't FIX our brains. There really is no proper fix. ADHD IS a disability, after all. But just like how medication can help improve your attention, reducing other stressors can too. If you have a proper routine that you can follow on autopilot where you dont have to think about it, your brain can relax and save that energy for other things you want to put your attention on before you get decision fatigue. Our brains have a million things going on at once. So the more of those we can automate or outsource, the more extra brain space we have to put towards things we otherwise wouldn't be able to keep up with.

What does "ever get better" mean? I mean I have it and I am a genius that enjoys his life more than NTs enjoy their 40 hours workweek. I get better every day and NTs get worse every day. Whatever do you mean?

But who ist managing your life? Maybe you are a genius in your field, but who does your taxes, who is managing the fiinances, who is planning for groceries, ...? If you have people around you who support you in every day tasks you are lucky.

@@ExistenceUniversity then I asume you are the genius while your wife is managing the boring every day life. Am I right? I am resentful because I know I could be a genius too if I could live in my ivory tower and delegate all the mundane tasks which are draining my energy.

@@dorotheakenneweg Nope, my wife is autistic and ADHD and a PhD in Mathematical physics. Dishes are hard but we are growing as people daily

Impossible. The subject caught my attention, but the man's wiggling catapults me far away from it. English is not my first language so I use the automatic translation but then I have to turn off the sound and cover wobbly man and then read. I lasted 4 minutes. I'm sorry! Maybe the info was interesting.
