I was looking for a comment like yours. Honestly though, the training is completely different, the muscle memory is different, the physical endurance requirements are different, and even the physics are different. I wouldn't strap a Gran Turismo pro into a Nascar and expect him to win races.

@@TheNynax idk, as a guy that plays a lot of airsoft, pavlov VR is pretty close. obviously you don't feel the weight of the gun in VR but looking through the scope/sights to line up a shot feels basically the same. never shot a real gun so i've never had to handle recoil, but i feel like aiming a single shot with a real gun vs with an airsoft gun is basically the same thing (even if you break your wrist and drop the gun, that will happen after you shot the thing you aimed at)

I think there was a show that puts game drivers and let them race for real in a track and real cars. Forgot what it is called tho.

@TheNynax yeah, it definitely wouldn't be perfect, but I think the meditative focus and the muscle control from shooting might make my VR aim better than my mouse aim, which doesn't use those as much or at least doesn't have the practice to implement them

@@albingrahn5576 airsoft doesn't really have recoil, but most competitive guns don't have much either as far as I know. But it's not a whole lot different. As someone who has done both, and has awful in game aim, it's more wrist in computer games than irl.
