A few days ago, I touched a hot stove by responding to a tweet featuring a controversial video of a product manager and project manager discussing what they do for a living.
I expressed how it makes me feel, but I wanted to give a little more clarity about what sort of buttons it pushed for me.

Hi, good to see you. I am a third-year CS student. I used to develop games in Unity, but after losing my mother and facing financial difficulties, I started using React to get a job, leaving my game development dreams behind. I found your RU-vid channel late, but it's okay; there's still a lot to learn from your videos. They really inspire me to learn something from scratch and understand the reasoning behind it. I am a slow learner and not a great student, but I will try my best to become a better programmer. I will make time for myself to learn every concept. Thank you so much.

My condolences. I'm sure you'll do great if you make a habit out of it. If you can make games from scratch, React (aside from the random B.S. that is outside of your control) will seem really easy by comparison. I know of quite a few people who don't really need to spend much time at all on their day jobs and plow the rest of their time into passion projects. You can do it :-).

Focusing on every little detail is part of our job description, it doesn't make us autistic. Obviously there are some autistic developers just as there are brogrammers. It doesn't matter, we're all different, that's what makes the world go round.
